“We had our wedding celebration here in June, and it was absolutely perfect - thanks to Mary Ann! Mary Ann was so helpful with coordinating the day, and incredibly kind through the whole process! She is so thorough with planning, and making sure everything was to our liking!
The day of our celebration everything was amazing and went smoothly! The food and drinks were a huge hit, and the entire staff was incredibly kind! We were also happy with the gluten free options and dietary accommodations !!

The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“A cozy place to chill and have a few drinks with friends, this local pub feels more like home than any bar I've been to. Sitting on the deck reminds me of family gatherings where we'd sit around and tell stories with beers in hand. The bartender kept her head on a swivel, always quick to grab your next drink before you've even had a chance to ask.Music was just the right volume to hear all the words to your favorite song without missing any of the conversation right next to you. “We went there on Friday night . We wanted to try something different so I got the Friday Fish Fry with mashed potatoes and corn. My husband got the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and the green beans. He loved his meal. My fish was good and the tartar sauce was delicious! My corn was not very warm but I ate them. The mashed potatoes were hard and cold. I told the waitress and she brought out a new one. We tried the sugar plum tea , it was very good! The service was good and we had a very nice experience. The last time we were there it was a disaster! But we decided to give them another try. Glad we did, it’s like they have new people working there and things were much better. The rib-tips are to die for. Perhaps my favorite BBQ sauce. Soft rarely bread. French fries are not too dry and yet not greasy—and tasty. The coslaw is enjoyable and it is without annoying salad dressings or other starting from the coslaw flavorings.
