“I'm very impressed with Ardor Breads. This old building used to be a plumber's office/store and they remodeled it into a nice restaurant. I came in for breakfast and sat near the counter, where I could see all the beautiful/tasty items coming out fresh from the kitchen, and I was truly amazed at all the delicious looking food. Nice crowd in here and many others were seated at tables outside. Place was packed! I loved my Zucchini Omelet with fresh orange juice. Staff were professional and very kind to me. Before leaving, I bought a few beautiful pastries that I saw in the window. Great breads, pastries, & food! I'll be back! (2024) 🥚🍳 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“These tamales are seriously the best! Every year we eat tamales for Christmas, and we’ve ordered from a few different places that were good, but these are beyond any of the others. They taste and remind me of home! I highly recommend snagging some! So good!“

“We celebrate as often about the big and little things, just so we have a reason to go in and eat our favorite goodies! As well as sweets, they have a lovely menu for a quick and healthy lunch while on the go or for a quaint sit and bite. Our family loves going here and is always welcomed by the great staff and wonderful owners. They did our wedding cake (the tiramisu) and several birthdays over the years!“

“I work downtown and go here at least once a week. I order the same thing when I go, 16oz Fr Vanilla Latte with half and half. Depending who was working the counter I would get charged differently each time. $5.66 one day or $6.77 the next. I asked one day and was told I was being charged for the half and half. Ok fine, BUT today I go there and order the same drink and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for a 16oz??? Starbucks and Dunkin charge $4.49 for the same drink and size. I go to CXT to support local. But today was probably my last day. The gentleman today fixed me up and I was charged $5.00. I think you Managers better circle back because no one will pay $7.00 for a 16oz iced latte.“

“We used Cracked Pepper Catering for our wedding in Peoria, IL. We couldn’t recommend them more! Our guests RAVED about the food. We had plated meals, both the chicken and steak were amazing. We also used Cracked Pepper for our wedding cake. It was everything we envisioned! I was able to have multiple calls with the baker to be sure we had all details stamped out. We went with their sheet cakes to serve our guests. Both the red velvet and lemon were delicious. Cracked pepper is responsive, organized and so easy to work with. We highly recommend them for your event.“
“This cafe is in the middle a thrift store which was not only convenient since we were already shopping it has a neat atmospere. I had the ham and three cheese panini with fritters on the side and my aunt had the cranberry salad. The sandwich could only be better if the cheese was melted more.“

“These cookies are always good. Some flavors are overly sweet though. I suggest buying the cookie cutter they sell, see as 1/4 of a cookie is the recommended serving size. It is that way for good reason. More than that can be sweet overkill. My spouse and I usually go every couple weeks and share a new cookie flavor together. It is very fun to try all the new flavors that they switch out weekly.
This location has workers that are a little less friendly than the East Peoria location. But it's not too bad.“
