Zaxby’s has officially brought a little piece of Georgia to Chicago area! 🍗❤️

I drove over an hour from downtown Chicago/North Chicago just to visit this location and it was 100% worth the drive! As a Georgia native, I grew up eating Zaxby’s every single week, and honestly, Zaxby’s helped get me through college! 😂🎓🍗

Zaxby’s has ALWAYS been my chicken finger of choice. No other chicken chain compares. PERIOD. The flavor, sauce, fries, toast it’s the whole experience!

And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Al, the manager! Al was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely conversational. He made the visit feel less like stopping at a restaurant and more like sitting down for a good ole Southern time with good people! That kind of hospitality is special and it brought back all the nostalgia of home. ❤️

If you’ve never tried Zaxby’s, RUN, don’t walk, to the new Plainfield location! Your taste buds, heart, and mind will be changed forever! 😂🍗❤️

“8-26-24 returning home from shoulder surgery at 5:30 pm, I had been jones-ing for some crispy chicken. My son picked up the 8 piece bucket meal and it was all delicious. We’ve had some not great visits here in the past but this meal was really very good. The biscuits were a little hard but nothing the extra gravy couldn’t fix. Between the 3 of us, the chicken is sorry he crossed the road.“

“Thank for the extra Dave’s sauces … when I first looked I thought I only saw one extra so I asked for another but now I have to checking. I did get two extra - My bad but I’ll make sure they do not go to waste!!“

“Service is quick and easy. The tipping is questionable. But I do it anyways. Food is great and worthwhile. A little on the pricier side but nothing out of the ordinary nowadays. Between this and chic fil a. This one takes the cake. PS; sweet tea is the only way to go for the drink.“

“Pretty good for fast food and I prefer their breakfast over their lunch and dinner. I always get the 4 count Chick-n-Minis meal and order an extra 4 count. It’s expensive for a fast food breakfast. Wish they had an option for 4 or 8 count, it would probably make it a little more affordable. I would stop here for breakfast more often but $15.55 is expensive, considering it’s only fast food.

I could get a lot more food for the same price at a sit down breakfast restaurant but I guess that’s what you pay for convenience. I just need to give myself more time and not pay extra for fast and convenient.“

“Absolutely love this place!! So happy that we have one now in Illinois!!! I had the Dixie Chick chicken salad on a croissant melt with the famous grape salad and the broccoli salad. It didn't disappoint at all. Loved It!!! Nice and refreshing place to eat for the summer time for sure!“

“The chicken is my favorite. I always get their delicious fresh coleslaw. Their daily specials are very good and generous. Like a lot of restaurants very little attention is paid to the dining room. There are usually one or two dirty tables and the room needs a thorough cleaning and upgrades“

“Walked in 3-combo meal (ate some before pic) Shrimp was the best. Everything cooked fresh. Crispy and piping hot. Not cold or crunchy fish nuggets.

Spent $19 for it between me and my gf.

My only improvement would be the sauces. The packets are lacking in flavor and liquid tartar sauce, but overall great.“

“It was kinda hard to find the place. We had to get out of the car and walk around back to the entrance but boy let me tell you it was worth it.Their tatertots with cheese was delicious and the chicken strips were phenomenal will be coming back.“

“Tried wick’s chicken for first time today. The chicken is fried to perfection with a light breading that stayed crispy even with the commute back to work. The wick’s ghost sauce has a good heat and flavor. Will be back.“

“I ordered the lunch special and beef patties. The jerk chicken was delicious and the jerk sauce had a spicy tropical flavor. I also liked the rice and red beans. The beef patty was also seasoned, flaky and delicious.
The portion was large. I have leftovers for tomorrow.
The atmosphere is clean and the guy at the register was friendly. Will try more items on the menu, soon.“

“YUMMY! I love wings and trying out new places. I thought I would give OMC a chance because their mascot is so cute! The wings were juicy and crunchy. Great sauce options to choose from, traditional options as well as some unfamiliar to me like peach habanero! My husband tried the chicken sandwich with slaw, delicious. This location was inside of a mall. Will come back.“

“I like crispy crust on my chicken and the chicken here is very crisp and golden brown ...the breast and thighs are bigger than you get at other chicken places too. They are somewhat more expensive but if you buy the daily deal it is great. Mushrooms are the best around.“

“The food is better than the Larkin Cresthill Joliet store. Romeoville is not to good on taste service times are horrible. This store my chicken sandwich was old. I was warned to ask for "fresh". I figured it the sandwich would be OK. But it wasn't for almost $6. Her pieces we "fresh".“

“The food itself is certainly better than the location in Bolingbrook but as with any Popeyes locations that I’ve been to you are better to place an online order way ahead of time if you want to walk in and have your food ready for you if you walk in and order, it’s gonna take you quite a while to get your order because everything seems to be made to order. It doesn’t seem like they have a lot of chicken ready available unless it’s like chicken sandwiches or things that nature but certainly chicken pieces definitely order hand.“
