“Every time I come the food and fish is always fresh. I've had one issue with the potato being brown all the inside which was weird and it tasted funny but other than that the broccoli is good the coleslaw was good which I barely eat coleslaw. And everything is always like I say fresh. I love the spicy cod. Just in all around good experience and the customer service is on point The guys are very friendly 🙏🏾“

The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

In all honesty the only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that some of the people who go there are a little distasteful. Still a great place to have some drinks, shoot some pool and chill on the patio.“
