“We love it here! It's a great atmosphere with super friendly staff. Good prices and even better food. Drinks are a good price too and they have rotating cans to try new beers every time we go. Our favorite menu items are the pizza, island patty melt, wings, and the Mac and cheese bites! This is our favorite location for date night and it's top of mind for a great bar to sit at. Plus you have bowling and pool tables right there as well.“
“The atmosphere is fantastic both indoors and out. Recently I discovers that Log Cabin has a Bocce Leauge on Thursdays! I was so impressed I’m throwing my 50th birthday here this June! “My husband and I have been coming here for years. The owners, Chris and Nikki and the bartender, Monica are always welcoming and take good care of us. Nice atmosphere, good company, lots of tvs if you want to watch the game, great music playing in the background. The food is always very good and freshly made. Some of our favorites are the chicken kabobs, the Jerry's Special, and the burgers, which are excellent! Half price martinis on Wednesdays with a long list of options to choose from. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time!“

“This is a cool spot in Highwood. Nothing really stands out as exceptional, but everything was pretty good.I got the rueban sandwich because we were there on St Patrick's Day. It was ok. The plain French fries were very average, but the truffle fries were much better.The calamari was good, but the other appetizers were not so much. The goat cheese was bland and the crab cakes were small and mushy.I had an alcohol free cocktail and it was good, but not $9 good.The cheeseburger and chicken sandwich were both loved by our dining partners.The service was pretty slow, but I'm sure they were under staffed since it was a holiday weekend.“
“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. “Wonderful find great Irish Pub, we were looking for a new go to after the Curragh closed down in the area and this is it, food was amazing my wife and I both had the Shepherds Pie and it was surprisingly good along with a some tasty homemade brown bread, along with the perfect pour of Guinness the vibe and feel of the place was great the service was great even on a Saturday night..great job guys,5 stars all around, our first visit and won't be our last...☘️“

“I visited Peggy Kinnane's at the recommendation of someone I struck up a conversation with while waiting in line a few weeks back. I was told if I wanted really good food to celebrate St Patrick's Day that I should go to Peggy Kinnane's-and I was told correct! Even though I didn't quite make it for St. Patrick's Day, I did find the food absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is great! “Wow! We came for brunch on Saturday and were one of three tables in this restaurant. The food, service, and ambience were all amazing! We ordered pot stickers from the evening menu, which was not a problem at all, onion soup, and entrees that were all delicious. Our server, Carly, was SO attentive, refilling our bottomless mimosa glasses before needed. The music was a mix of Frank Sinatra and all of our rock classic favorites. If you live near Park Ridge, please come here for brunch.“
