“I want to begin by saying that we love this place. BUT, the service and food were just horrible. My husband's wings were good but my nachos were terrible. The lack of beef was covered up with lettuce and triple helping of sour cream. I left hungry. We usually stay for more than 1 drink, but I had to get out of there due to a very miserable child screaming for its mother to pay attention to her. Just an overall unpleasant experience.“

Loved that they had themed flights to choose from, and our Miss Frannie was spoiled with her own bowl of fresh cold water and some dog treats from them. “I’m not typically one to issue 5 star reviews. However, Buddy’z was on their A game on the night of 10/16/2025 and helped the wife and I celebrate our anniversary with two very tasty pizzas. We ordered a deep dish and a thin crust, both sausage, for delivery. Both pizzas were fantastic, had plenty of toppings, great taste, and they arrived quickly, despite having ordered a deep dish. It was actually a little nostalgic calling up a pizza place and placing an order. Not like these corporate pizza places that want everything done online via some Terminator on judgement day taking your order. Better yet? The woman who answered the phone knew what she was doing. I didn’t get the person on day 2 that was left alone on her own to hopefully survive.

I worked food service for almost 20 years in pizza so I know that everything just clicked last night. Now the only question that remains is consistency! Keep it up! We will see!

It all just gelled and it helped our anniversary be a great one.

“Went here for the first time service was exceptional. They let us know today was mothers day in mexico which I loved it doesnt change anything but it was cute that they mentioned it to us. They stopped us on our way out to give me and my friend roses for mothers day. They were quick and on top of everything, very attentive. Two mom with two little ones was a challenge but they made us feel very welcome. The enchiladas were great 9.5/10 the quesabirria was ok 6.5/10 not my favorite I couldve order soemthing else but I was happy enough. Absolutely would go back again.“

“Thanks, for just being open!! My husband and I were sitting down eating when an older gentleman (Ray) came in set his stuff down on table and went up to counter to order. Ray was informed that he was to place his order at the Kiosk. Ryan told cashier “I don’t know how to do that”. Young lady told Ray she was not allowed to come out and help him. Poor Ray was going to leave ( he really did not know how to order on kiosk). I went and helped him 😊 Ray was a happy camper with his meal ☺️☺️. Thanks again for being open!! “We ate here, 11/6/25, it was a beautiful day, so we decided to take the drive up to Lake Geneva from the Chicago area. We were there about 1pm. There was a moderate sized crowd. All of the staff was very friendly. We opted for their (cod) fish fry. Honestly, it was better than we expected. It was just lightly breaded (we find that a lot of fried fish at restaurants are way over breaded). It is served with hush puppies, coleslaw, and choice of fries or crispy potato pancake. It was all delicious! They start you out 2 pieces of fish, I guesstimate about 4 1/2”x 2-3”. The fish and potato pancake was so hot you could barely eat it right away, you could tell it had just come out of the fryer. My husband was ready for seconds before I finished mine, so he ordered a couple more pieces before me. They were on the table within 5 minutes!!! You can also order more of the sides! We opted out of that, bc the fish was so good,and we didn’t want to fill up on the sides. I also ordered another piece, and again, it came out quickly. We would definitely go back here. The fish fry is $16.99 if you get there before 4pm, and $19.99 after that. Our server, Jesse, was very friendly, polite, and attentive. We were seated by the window and had a lovely view of the lake. They have a parking lot that is $5/ hour. I don’t know how much the street parking is, but we opted for the lot instead of driving around looking for a spot. We were out within the 1 hour mark anyway. Btw, even the parking lot attendant was extremely nice. Also, they put a little card on your table so you can tell them about your experience, and if you have any suggestions. I feel like they really care about their customers. Will definitely return. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!“
