“Last night my husband and I had dinner at Poison Ivy. We had baked cod with brussel sprouts and cole slaw. The portion was large (we both left food on our plates!) and the food was delicious! The fish was amazing - flaky and perfectly cooked.“

“I just really love it here. There’s always a place for me and always a happy face to serve me. The food is great, everything is great and the friendly atmosphere means everything to me. I’m an older single female and usually come for the fish fry on Fridays but everything I’ve had here is very good. I never get any weird looks for being alone and female whether I sit at a table or the bar and that means the world to me because sometimes I just want to get away. I would give them more stars if I could because I’ve been here quite a few times now and the service has always been second to none and that’s very hard to find these days. Always a pleasure to have a bite to eat or just chill out!“

“I stopped by Whiskey Roadhouse after reading reviews that they had a good breakfast buffet. They do. It's Sunday 10-2p and it's very good food for a very reasonable price. The staff work very hard cooking and stocking the buffet with quality food but it's hard to keep up at times when a large group of hungry folk descend on the buffet at the same time, so be patient. Food will be out shortly and it's worth the wait. Very friendly place. If there is something that you need, just ask and they'll get it for you.“

“Excellent and helpful staff. Friday fish is one of the best in the area. My mom loves the Walleye and Blue Gill. And she is picky about her fish. My sister is not a fan of fish so she gets the chicken sandwich and says it is one of the best she has ever had.“

“A random stop on our road trip. It was a little pricy but the food and service was very good. Pizza was on the smaller size but very good. I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, which was actually what I hoped to find, and I was not disappointed.“

“Local bar on prairie ave in Beloit WI. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I usually have a pineapple and Malibu, the waitress suggested trying rum haven which is a top shelf liquor which tasted very delicious with the pineapple. They also have slots, and a pool table. Very nice atmosphere, clean as well. They have food but I have not tried it yet.“

“Great old fashioned "greasy spoon" breakfast place. All the regular expected items but also potato pancakes which were delicious. I gave atmosphere a 2 but in this case that's desirable. I don't want fancy decor in a place like this. It's supposed to look like I walked into the 1970s. It's part of the charm.😄“

“I’ve had breakfast here a dozen times or more and never been dissatisfied. Place is well lit, cozy ,and clean. Food and service are always top notch. My favorite breakfast stop in town.“

“We walked in with 13 people for a late lunch before an icehogs game, half of our group was kids. This being a bar setting, the manager Billy quickly took action and set up round tables for us in the arcade area to accommodate us and our kids to eat. Billy and his crew did an amazing job helping us out and we really appreciate it. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Food is great, service is great.“
