“it is always a great experience at the Roselle DQ. but I have to give a huge shoutout to their employee tonight. She was working so hard to fill the orders as fast as she possibly could! Tony check your shifts from 5/4 this evening. I think she said her name is Haley. She was an outstanding employee. I know the world is understaffed and she could have easily been frustrated at the never ending line, but she was working so hard and I just thought you deserved to know what a great job she was doing. I just thought she deserved a little shoutout!“

“My kids and I love coming for breakfast to this mcdonalds we are sure gonna miss coming now that they are in school.. on one occasion we experienced a extremely rude customer start yelling at manager and she controlled the situation very professionally, needless to say my kids saw that and they were disgusted at how this 40ish yr old man was acting, but they also appreciated even more at how the manager kept her composure. Thank you!!!“

“It's a nice little chicken restaurant with juicy chicken. I ordered the salad and spicy chicken wrap. The seasoning on the salad was fantastic and tomatoes were juicy. The spicy chicken was delicious. The mayo complimented well with the spiciness. Also the prices were very affordable. Would come again“

The food was outstanding, with every dish prepared to perfection and made with love. All the guests were so happy! “On August 16, 2024 my dear friend Eberta Wright celebrated her 103 birthday. We celebrated it at The Lazy Dog Restaurant in the Highlands were we used to go for lunch every Sunday after church. Our waiter was always Carlos. One Sunday he told me to let him know when she was to celebrate her next birthday because he wanted to do something special for her. I called him and told him it was here so he talked to his manager and WOW!!!!! Kyla, Alexa, Andrea and Carlos put together a spectacular birthday celebration. Mrs. Wright and I both were so surprised and delighted with what they did. The decorations, the gorgeous flowers the cupcakes that Kyla made and decorated to spell out her birth year. Everything was just wonderful. Carlos came in on his day off and got to have lunch with us. He is a very special young man. In fact everyone there is very special. The Lazy Dog will always be my number one restaurant not just because of the good food but because they are a group of very special people.“

“Outstanding. Saw a post on Insta and happened to be cruising through Palatine so I decided to form my own opinion. I’m certainly glad I stopped. Everything was on point. Burger was so good. I’m not normally down with waffle fries but these were great. Nice and crispy and the seasoning wasn’t over powering. I also did the Oreo shake because why not! I will definitely be coming back cuz I’m curious how the chicken sandwich is. Seriously a great smash burger and worth the money imo. Staff was great, friendly and upbeat. The whole place was nice and clean. Love the vibe with the 60’s diner music. Cheers Reps!

“Went there in the afternoon for late breakfast. Food was excellent ...service was crap..Waittress brought out my friend's food and didn't bring out all of my food till I was halfway through my meal. When I told a waitress she said that the kitchen was behind on putting orders out but I was there a 1/2 hour before they close? Food was excellent and a large amount and plan on taking leftovers home.

Parking: Probably at least 80 to 100 parking spots.

“Ate there last night. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. I’m pretty picky about vodka pasta and this one was the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant has such a fun modern 1920s vibe. They also have a kids menu so it’s great for date night or a family outing.“

“Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

“Our first experience at this local place. I had high expectations, so I will need to visit again. The hostess seated us quickly, the place was pretty empty for a Friday at noon-ish. The busser brought us water and silver immediately. Great first impression. Step in the server? Not so impressed, a little crass and seemed “irritated” and like we were wasting his time. Maybe he was mad we came so close to closing time (2:30pm) but he never once told us his name, nor did he act like he cared. Food was good, but it was not even WARM. I ordered crepes and they were cool to the touch. Again, maybe I expected too much. I’d like to see specialty coffees (you have a FULL service bar and endless mimosas but no specialty coffees?). I’d also like to see free refills for JUICE, instead of charging $4.00 for a highball glass of cranberry. And I’d definitely like to see some ability to combo - think Egg Harbor or something - if I want I add eggs and bacon it shouldn’t all be side orders. Lastly, for a small family owned restaurant, I was expecting competitive pricing. I was surprised at how expensive it seemed. $14.00 for crepes? Breakfast shouldn’t be $115 for 4 people. It just shouldn’t. I will leave open the 1% chance that our server was just having a bad day. I will give it one more try.“

“Myself and my family of five came in after 10pm and were greeted with we had to use the kiosk to place our order which was cool because I'd never used one before and wanted to experience this tech. It was a very easy thing to do and because we were essentially the only people in there at that moment the service was very quick. The food was actually better than I expected. It definitely is a different burger than it's competitors.“

A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“

“I don't like ANY of the other halal pizza spots in the suburbs, BUT for this Palooza pizza.

Palooza pizza has the best tasting sauce with just the correct amount of tanginess and heat. No overpowering, nauseating fennel.
And the cheese:sauce:toppings ratio is perfect for me.
Plus, it's zabiha halal.
