“Locally owned restaurant and bar that caters to the local crowd. Food is very good with daily specials. Personal favorites are the soups and chicken wings. All the food I've had has been good and we visit weekly. The place serves pizza, and it is good, but pizza is definitely a personal decision. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A place worth visiting if you haven't already.“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“The mother's day event here was nice. It got off to a slow start but once in full swing it turned out to be very nice. There was live entertainment. This was my first time here. The catering was absolutely delicious. It's located in downtown Park Forest and there is plenty of parking.“

“As a truck driver from Thibodaux, Louisiana....I used to stop there very very often from 2017 to 2021 until I had a shoulder surgery....LOVED THIS PLACE, THE OWNERS, THE SERVERS, DEE, JEN AND OTHERS I CANT RECALL, IM SORRY, AND.........PEDRO, THE AWESOME CHEF....I MISS THESE PEOPLE, HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING FINE....HOPE TO REVISIT SOMETIME SOON !!!!!“

“Unfortunately, my first visit here was really disappointing 😕 The fried food tasted like it had been cooked in old grease, which gave everything an unpleasant flavor. The chicken was especially bad and didn’t taste fresh at all 🍗❌ The onion rings were also not enjoyable and seemed overcooked and greasy 😞 The only thing I actually liked was the sandwich, which was decent 👍 Everything else was so disappointing that I couldn’t even finish it. I honestly don’t think I would come back again after this experience 💔“

“I had heard they had prime rib tacos, I have never had prime rib tacos. I guess you can only get them on Wednesday so I called and ordered carry out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The taco itself was absolutely delicious! So savory and moist. I am glad I ordered 3 of them. I will 100% be going back.“

“It's always a pleasure to go to Old Town the white people treat you so good down there the food is great the drinks is a reasonable price it won't hurt your pocket so I try my best stay away from black owned club because black owned club black owned places are too high and too expensive they hurt black people pocket so old town is the place to go I'm keeping all this 100 💯“
“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“
“Katie was our waitress last night and she was so sweet! I had a Blueberry Moscow Mule, and it was made to perfection! We had the guacamole as an appetizer and it was delicious and beautifully presented! My husband had the Sacramento Burger with Cajun Fries & I had BBQ & Buffalo Boneless Wings with Fries. Our food came out quickly and we enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back! We are not members of the Country Club and we love that we get to eat here too! The members we met here last night were very friendly and welcoming.“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“

“My server Irene was nice and very attentive. She suggested a couple of entrees. The Billionaires Bacon Burger was satisfying and the Sweet Potato Fries were delicious!! The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.“

“I go to this place all the time. Ever since the owner sold the establishment the atmosphere changed , the order process changed & the taste change.
I can’t order my skillet with a waffles anymore it has to be toast or pancakes. I used to love their strawberry lemonade. Now it tastes like water, the sweetness is gone!!. And when I went last week it was hair inside my waffle.(it’s time for me to find a new spot) I wish the previous owner would come back. Because the new one isn’t managing his business properly.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
“The Jerk Chicken Quesadilla's were very flavorful but the Jumbo Shrimp Cheezy Grits with bacon were down right delicious and very hearty. They are a must try, they will not disappoint.“

“Compared to Arby’s in CP, Pops is a different kind of experience! The gentleman taking the order, awesome attitude. Probably one of the best ever drive through I’ve been through. The food is good and it’s my fault I didn’t get the hookup with the peppers and aujus. The service though, terrific! Great attitudes, order was perfect, staff were smiling and happy. I recommend this place.“

“I stopped here to try the Strawberry Daydream Refesher and the young man that was there helped me understand the difference in the drinks that were listed. In all the drink was okay, I'll most definitely be back to try the Strawberry Protein Refresher as well.“
