“If you are ever looking for some of the BEST TACOS in the South Suburbs-Harvey to be EXACT.. you have to stop at Al Vapor Taqueria. These are the best Steak tacos...Everything is cooked fresh. The owner Lucia and her son Sebastian are so nice. You will not be disappointed. I wish I took a picture of the tacos..but Trust me they are FYEEEEEE! Another winner the have excellent salsas and fresh chips...and Cauliflower, carrots and peppers...LIKE I SAID..FYEEE!!!! TRY THEM OUT, thank me later.????“

“I've been currently eating from this restaurant for the last 2 months we are renovating our house here in Harvey and I have no time to cook. Their food here at this restaurant is more affordable than other Mexican restaurants. Their food is delicious. Their service is good as well. And they're very kind and caring for having a gas heater there for the people that wait. The Huaraches, Quesobirrias, sopes, and champurados are very good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who is looking for Mexican food that is authentic.“

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

“We pass this place plenty of times, when we went for tacos around the corner of it. Decided to stop in to give it a try. This is our new taco place! Steak, Pastor, Cecina and chorizo tacos are delicious! Carnitas they sometimes have on Sunday are the bomb. Pozole is delicious. Can't forget the nachos w/steak louded, couldn't wait until I got home, munched on them the whole way home.“

“Hired Froggies to cater for a private party. The food was excellent the service was great. Ray the owner, made many great suggestions, that made the party even better. The food was was 10 stars plus, and everyone loved it. I was even able to hire a server from froggies to help serve the food. All in all it was a great experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Froggies again. Thank you Ray and Froggies for making our party a success.“

“Man these Tacos and Tortas are the best. Every time I am in the South suburbs I come here to grab some. They are cash only so come with cash. The guy's been working here forever. They just recently repainted and remodeled just a little bit. The food is the same from years ago when I was coming here. I'm glad they're back open“

“Vegetarian options: Menu is not vegetarian but if you for your plate to be modified they will make sure that it is. All of their food is authentic they make it, the owner is very friendly will say hi and welcome to everyone. Very welcoming!“

“Overall this place was pretty solid the prices are perfect for the amount of food you get. The meats are all cooked very well with great flavor. The only thing I could say is maybe the steak may need a little bit more flavor but compared to other places it’s still better than most. I also tried the corn it’s got a different flavor to it not my particular liking but even still it was not bad at all. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good tacos for sure. I also got the food delivered so I didn’t get it as fresh as it could be and even still I give it high ratings. Also if I could recommend they add a couple different salsas to better compliment the great food they already serve.“

“Stopped in today for $1 wing Wednesday! To my surprise they offered real sides as well. I had 6 wings with Mac and cheese and yams. The wings were amazing, sides were as well. I also enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited! Will definitely be back.
P.S they said they have throw back Thursday. The prices will be lower on that day!!“

“Best Jerk Chicken I've had, the food is beyond amazing and delicious and their customer service is excellent. Someone greets you when you come in to order or pick up your food. Everything from the Jerk chicken , Jerk chicken Alfredo and all the side dishes are delicious. “Food was ok. I was quite upset when they didn't honor the 3% discount for all checks paid with cash (as stated on the menu) and for card purchases it would be a 3.99% added to the bill. When I questioned the waitress, she said no. I said it's on the menu. I asked for the menu back to prove to her it was there. She went and got the manager and he said when they ring up the bill, it is usually with the card purchases at 3.99 and if you pay cash, that 3.99 comes off, but where does the 3% discount come in?? Still confused on this one. We wound up having to pay the full amount with no discount. They need to remove that from the menu as it is false advertisement!! The manager even said people question them when they say it's on your website and they don't honor that either.“
