8 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants Savoy

Triptych Brewing Brewery • $
1703 Woodfield Dr, Savoy

“Exactly what a neighborhood brewery should be! Found it while visiting in Savoy and was so impressed and kind of wishing it was closer to where I live. Great selection of beer! The place was hopping maybe because they just released a stout that comes out once a year. Loved the ipas I tried and the few others.“

“Saw this little shop today for the first time. The owner said they’ve been open for 3 1/2 years! I don’t know how I missed it. However, I don’t get to Champaign very often anymore. Anyway, I had a chocolate raspberry tart. It was beautiful and equally delicious! I wish I had taken a picture before I ate it! lol! I also purchased a mocha tart but I haven’t eaten it yet.“

“We enjoy coming to Riggs to gather with friends. The tractor playground has been loved by our kids; they enjoy the backyard games available to play and the indoor board games. For work, we've booked spaces to host staff gatherings and the service is wonderful. They are responsive and considerate. We love the food trucks that come and serve your customers. It allows us to te different places in the community.“

“Love this restaurant. We try to dine at Hamilton Walkers every time we come to visit our son at college. Food is always amazing and at a great price point for an upscale dining experience. Fantastic ambiance, service and location. The cocktail shrimp and bacon wrapped dates appetizers are recommended. As are there steaks and fish and meat loaf and garlic mashed potatoes. Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.“

25 O'Clock Brewing Company Brewery • $
208 W Griggs St, Urbana - 4.68 miles

“We have actually been there 2 or 3 times now and have to say their beer always seems to impress, and frankly given that the brewer(s) seem to be risk-takers covering a myriad of styles, that's quite a compliment. No food, few frills outside of a sizable space in a bit of a remote location, it really is almost all about the beer and the generally affable patrons from all walks of life that enjoy it. Suffice it to say we are confident you will find something you like and have a fine beer experience.“

“Great food and service! David was excellent and attentive. He recommended the Takoyaki-octopus Ball. I was skeptical as I had never eaten something like that, but they were amazing! I would also recommend the Tuna tartar. We got a level 2 spice for the Ramen, (we love spicy foods), but it was SO spicy I couldn't imagine doing a level 3 or 4. In total, we ordered Shiitake Mushrooms, Takoyaki-octopus Ball, Tempura Brussel Sprouts, Creamy Crabby Jalapeño, Tuna Tartar, and Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen. This was more than enough food for 2 people and we spent just as much money as we would ordering 2 entrees at another fine dining restaurant. The inside was gorgeous, but I would agree with other reviews that it was almost too bright.“

“There should be a sixth star for Sun Singer....This place is soooooo good the review will be in two parts, first the restaurant...Followed by the wine and spirits store....Sun Singer Restaurant has both table settings and a small 10 seater bar, I chose the bar, but you do you boo boo... you will not be disappointed either way.The menu might scare you into thinking this is some upper echelon boujie molecular gastronomy place, but nope...it's genuinely great food in an amazing atmosphere. The restaurant has a small deli counter attached so if you need to build a charcuterie at home, grab before you go out the door. The bar has top notch spirits as well as an extensive menu that boasts lobster and pot roast nachos, as well as a rarely found hanger steak. I'm a finger food type of simpleton so I sat myself down grabbed a Stella and built my own antipasti. F#@%ing amazing... absolutely delicious from start to finish. Served on a platter with enough room to build your creation, and presented with a baguette that was crisp on the crust and just enough chew to hold up whatever you choose to place on top. I also ordered the pork roast nachos, because WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GET POT ROAST ON NACHOS?!?!?!?!?! Sure the lobster piqued my interest, but I'm glad I picked the pot roast.... it was well balanced and looked oh so pretty. As for the rest of the menu, I cannot say anything turned me off, it all sounded well crafted and prepared. Now for the second part of this review, there is a packaged liquor store attached directly to the restaurant & deli... making this place the ultimate one stop shop for any pre-party or get together, if I knew wines better could tell you more about them because it looked like they had well over 1000 bottles... I can tell you they had a wine chiller...WHO ELSE HAS A WINE CHILLER?!?!?!?!The sommelier told me that it can chill any bottle in approximately 8 minutes, perfect to grab a quick bite, then head out with ice cold vino. My favorite side of the store was the whiskey selection, which has a wonderful bunch of bottles. Nothing I saw there was outrageously over-priced and everything was clearly labeled and ready to grab.11/10 You need to eat and shop here...again and again.Food pictured is the antipasti, and then the nachos.... that last pick was a perfect nacho that was still hanging around well over half-way through completion....LOOK AT HOW PERFECT IT IS.... it's way prettier than your first born, tasted better too!!“
