“I was there for a bridal shower last week, and it was an amazing experience. The environment and the atmosphere were top-tier, the service was pretty great, and the food was top-notch. “Pretty decent ramen. Not the best but very decent.
The environment is clean and comfortable. Good space between each table. The staff is welcoming and attentive.
The ingredients in the salad is very fresh. The shoi ramen is pretty decent with good flavorful broth. Noodle texture can be firmer.
Tsukemen is OK. The ingredients are good, and good portion of protein. However the traditional Tsukemen should have sauce in the side instead of pour over. The noodle is also not the right type, kind of way too soft. Other than that, the dish itself is not bad. The dish actually feels like a hybrid between Japanese Tsukemen and Chinese cold noodle dish.
In general, it's a good Asian noodle restaurant.“

“Had early dinner at the Big Grove and was completely blown away. Food was excellent with a variety of menu items that had me wishing my stomach was a bit bigger. I sat at the bar as I was dining alone and the bartender did a great job of explaining the various items I inquired about as well as suggesting a perfect craft beer pairing. I only get to Champaign a couple of times a year, but this will be my go-to anytime in the area.“

“Came here to study and absolutely loved it. It’s a little noisy so if you’re looking for a quiet place, this probably isn’t the spot for you, but if you like some background I highly recommend!! Staff is so kind and welcoming and the vibe in here is great, also doesn’t get too crowded!! I’m literally gonna come here everyday.“
“I visited 25 O’Clock Brewing Company for a quick drink and had a really solid overall experience.
The vibe is very chill with an open, comfortable layout. There’s a mix of bar seating, tables, and outdoor seating, and even though there was a decent crowd, it still felt cozy and relaxed. The space also has board games available, which adds to the laid-back atmosphere. I also found the bathroom doors—made of bare wood with handwritten messages from guests—interesting and unique, though I’m not entirely sure if that’s intentional or just part of the aesthetic.
We were greeted by a friendly bartender who offered samples, which was appreciated and helped with decision-making. There was also a happy hour from 4–6 PM with $1 off drafts.
In addition to drinks, they also offer food options, though we didn’t order anything during this visit.
I wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so I tried the Cloud Mountain kombucha instead, which I’d heard is popular locally. I was able to sample a 2 oz pour for $2 before committing, which was a nice option. The kombucha itself was crisp, refreshing, and not overly sweet—honestly one of the better ones I’ve had.
My partner tried three beers and found them decent, though nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, this is a great spot for a relaxed drink with a good atmosphere and friendly service. The kombucha stood out as excellent, and while the beers were more average, the overall experience makes it worth a visit.“

“Gavin provided excellent service during my visit. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of from start to finish. He checked on us regularly, had a great attitude, and made the experience enjoyable. My order was accurate, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed even with dealing with multiple tables . Gavin is a great example of outstanding customer service, and I would be happy to have him as my server again. Thank you, Gavin, for making our visit a great one!“

“The service here is crazy. I swear they use robots to make the sandwiches that’s how fast they have people making these. I really like the tuna sandwich. This is a perfect spot to go if you live on Locust or Oak street. Because they make these food so fast I like to grab this when I am studying since it doesn’t take too long.

“If you want a freshly made, warm burger for an affordable price, this is the place to go. I usually never got food at dairy queen because obviously the hype revolves around the ice cream, which is understandable but I think the burgers are underrated. They usually also have a deal where you can get 2 for I think $6 which is so worth it.“

“Drive through was long and I did have to wait for my order of saucy nuggets. Workers were all polite and fast though so must be a great location. Saucy nuggets was in a container with a good amount of sauce. Ended up getting some toast to dip with remaining sauce after nuggets.“

“We had a great experience here! The staff was really friendly and welcoming. My husband had a beer, and I ordered a flight so I could try a few different options. Every beer we tasted was delicious! They were smooth, flavorful, and not overly bitter, which I appreciated. We also had our kids with us, and they had a great time playing outside while we relaxed. It was a perfect spot for our family, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!“
