“We have been coming here to 5 years . Anytime we are in town visiting one of our college kids we always make a reservation for dinner.\nThe food and service is always excellent. I love the seasonal Dutch apple cocktail. We had yummy calamari and the cauliflower for appetizers. I had the shrimp wrap which was good.\nThe bread pudding is always great as well as the mini mousse cups. \nOn a personal note, we always call for reservation but for some reason forgot to this time. We showed up thinking we had one and they were so kind and accommodating and were able to get us a table anyways. This is just the best place ever!!\nAlso the liquor store is very good too. Very unique finds there and plenty of help and expertise when needed.\nDefinitely a hidden gem!!“

“A very nice ramen place. They have quite a variety of dishes to choose from. Their appetizers are also good. I ordered deep fried oysters. It was delicious!! Their Tonkotsu ramen is very flavorful. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice. This is a good ramen place!!!“

“I occasionally love to get my coffee fix from 7brew before alternatives like Dunkin’, Dutch Bros, and Starbucks introduced protein caffeinated drinks in their menus. I can still make my own DIY protein coffees by mixing 7brew coffee with my own protein supplement, but it’s nice to pay for convenience when buying protein coffee. I wish 7brew would offer protein caffeinated beverages.“

“Normally, the food is great and shopping is fun. But 3 days ago, I ordered the homestyle chicken salad and the salad was mostly yellow lettuce - the chef had cut the heart of the head into the salad. It was so bitter that I could not eat it. I mentioned it to the server, who should have noticed, but didn’t. Why did the chef serve this? Still, I would recommend because the food is usually good.“

“Had early dinner at the Big Grove and was completely blown away. Food was excellent with a variety of menu items that had me wishing my stomach was a bit bigger. I sat at the bar as I was dining alone and the bartender did a great job of explaining the various items I inquired about as well as suggesting a perfect craft beer pairing. I only get to Champaign a couple of times a year, but this will be my go-to anytime in the area.“

“My wife and I recently visited for lunch, and enjoyed appetizers, a pizza, and some drinks. We really enjoyed the food, and the drink service was diverse, including a good selection of beer and non alcoholic options. We enjoyed the local kombucha! The service was also really good, and all the servers, bar tender and hostess were attentive and friendly.“

“Came here to study and absolutely loved it. It’s a little noisy so if you’re looking for a quiet place, this probably isn’t the spot for you, but if you like some background I highly recommend!! Staff is so kind and welcoming and the vibe in here is great, also doesn’t get too crowded!! I’m literally gonna come here everyday.“
“This is the most friendly, non judgemental place that I have patronized for the last 5 years. Everyone is welcome, and it is like a family of like minded folks. Never feel uncomfortable, alone or with a group. They like to maintain a peaceful non confrontational tap room to enjoy great beer, trivia. Pool, games, etc

“The service here is crazy. I swear they use robots to make the sandwiches that’s how fast they have people making these. I really like the tuna sandwich. This is a perfect spot to go if you live on Locust or Oak street. Because they make these food so fast I like to grab this when I am studying since it doesn’t take too long.

“If you want a freshly made, warm burger for an affordable price, this is the place to go. I usually never got food at dairy queen because obviously the hype revolves around the ice cream, which is understandable but I think the burgers are underrated. They usually also have a deal where you can get 2 for I think $6 which is so worth it.“

“Drive through was long and I did have to wait for my order of saucy nuggets. Workers were all polite and fast though so must be a great location. Saucy nuggets was in a container with a good amount of sauce. Ended up getting some toast to dip with remaining sauce after nuggets.“
