“Just had myself a Dogfather Hot Dog for Wiener Wednesday and I was impressed! I love the fact all the Chicago Style toppings are diced up on the dog instead of having individual tomato slices, pickle spears and sport peppers. It made it easier to eat and the diced up sport peppers really added a nice spicy kick to the dog. The hot dog itself was waaaaay bigger than I am used to. You are definitely getting a great deal on Wiener Wednesday! Overall, service was great and food came out quickly! I will definitely return!“

“Very good hot dogs and fries for a fair price. As usual it’s always best to go during peak business hours for the freshest dogs. You’ll get a dog wrapped with a decent amount of fries. Fries a fresh cut and salted. I was apprehensive about the pizza but I tried it with a combo and the sausage pizza was very good too. Food will be ready quick, either eat there or grab and go.“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! “They are fast and friendly with a large selection, from hamburgers & hot dogs to wings to pizza puffs and gyros. They are pretty reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. There are a few seats if you want to dine in at the even though the place is rather narrow. I have been going to Tommy's (Crystal Lake, they have several locations) for years and never disappointed. They even have "daily specials" to help save money, which is always a plus ( I like the two hot dogs, fries and drink special) it fills you up. Highly recommend this eatery.

A mini beef ordered today tasted like a bread sandwich.

“Addison A&W is always clean, even the tables are regularly washed. The food is tasty and well portioned. A highlight is the Mushroom Onion Melt, it had plenty of grilled onion and mushrooms with well melted Swiss. They serve the drinks in glass mugs in the dining room which makes a great cold drink with out needing ice. The Zero Sugar Root Beer is great.“
