“Passing through ORD, of course I'm going to get a Chicago dog. But even the best laid plans get sidetracked!

There are terminals you can order from, and while I was putting in my order, a staffer suggested their Maxwell Street hot dog (prepped by the amazing Oumar) - their only grilled offering! - and I couldn't resist. She was friendly and I went along with it.

Worth a visit if you're craving a hot dog and have a layover.

“Their chicken Philly needs a lot of work. They overwhelmed it with onions and cheese but not enough meat. Ratio needs correction. Also the fries were undercooked and extremely soggy. Their menu is on the pricier side. As for their service and atmosphere, it was overall solid. I will be back here.“

“Just had the best burger - I love the special sauce, and the buns were super soft and fresh. The mango jalapeno wings were great mix of spicy and sweet. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back and try the chicken sandwich.“

Some items seem to have smaller portions for the price. Last time I had a spicy chicken sandwich wich is one of their new menu offerings, chicken portion was tiny. “The restaurant is nice and big. It is clean! The waitstaff is great, friendly and efficient . The food is very very good and you know it's a great place to go when there is a wait line, sometimes out the door. You have the option to eat outside in good weather. My husband and I always try to get the cozy two seater table in the little nook by the window. The food is very tasty and plenty of flowing coffee. Due to illness we are not able to come out much, but I sure miss this place. Lots of wonderful Saturday morning breakfast memories. Wishing you great continued success.“

Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. “I tried to order and the girl didn't understand English nor Spanish. She wanted to take the order but because of language barrier she got someone else. Guy was nice and recommended a pomegranate something cause I didn't like. Be careful the were charging me $1.49 fir sauces without telling me. He made it sound like they came free with chicken wings. I also asked him if onion rings were beer battered or breaded? He had no clue what that meant. Btw they are breaded and pretty good. They had good fries too. My daughter got a burger I think she liked. They have a cool machine to take a picture but its broken in back. I wanted the $20 wings but dude rang me fir two 10 pieces at $24. I corrected him in the end overcharging me $4. With experience of ringing my food not the best. Btw buffalo wings way better than the plain wings. Plain wings were looking disgusting and was super flavorless and bit cooked all the way. I went home a put in airfryer.“

“Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

“This used to be our absolute favorite spot. My friends and I would come here several times a week, and we loved the familiar faces on the staff. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“
