“Got the spicy fried chicken, palabok, burger steak, mashed potatoes, and guava freeze. Overall the food is good and doesn’t take too long like other locations. It wasn’t too busy when I got here. But the spicy fried chicken was less spicy than other locations that I have tried. It tastes like just fried chicken. So it wasn’t bad just not spicy at all. So don’t expect it to be spicy but it’s still good anyway if you're dripping with the sauce. Palabok was my favorite one. The atmosphere is quiet and easy to talk in. All the places are clean and the staff are very nice. Some items online were unavailable but I recommend to check with them because they have it, it's just not on the menu online. There are plenty of parking spots too and a drive-thru option.“

“We tried Byrd’s Hot Chicken in Skokie and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered the Byrd Bomb (crispy tenders with cheese, slaw, 24 karat sauce, pickles on bread and hot toast) and it was packed with flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was juicy and had the perfect kick, while the crispy Byrd wrap was a great twist with amazing crunch. We also got a full order of wings, and they were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside and tender inside.
The drinks selection is solid (Pepsi products) and paired perfectly with the heat. Service was great, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the place had plenty of space with lots of parking available.
If you’re looking for delicious hot halal chicken with great portions and excellent service, this is the spot. Definitely coming back! Also they are on uber eats and open super late“

“Everything was sweet, except it would have been cool to have a fork for the salad. Otherwise, just a truly, quality meal. And even though the delivery fellow seemed mildly nonplussed when I spoke English, I could tell he was a really nice guy.“

Moving our daughter into DePaul we came upon the owner of Red Light chicken who gave us a few pointers in parking near his establishment, after taking the time to help us find a spot he happily welcomed us with a free chicken sandwich which I’m happy to report was delicious. “Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

I visited Chicago for about a week and tried plenty of restaurants in that time - from carts to michelin starred. I have to say that in my entire stay, the Art of Chicken takes the prize for my favorite meal.

They absolutely killed the pulled chicken sandwich and Mac n cheese (be sure to add their sauce to it)!!

While I was the only guest at the time, Mr. Christian behind the register made the effort to strike up convo and ensure that the hospitality was the icing on the cake.

“Love this place. I've been here a few times. The hot chicken sandwich, nachos, and fries are always great. This most recent visit I tried a double smashburger with smash peppers, spicy chopped cheese, and onion rings. The burger was probably the best smashburger I ever had, the beef and bun tasted really fresh, burger patties were crispy and seasoned, and the sauce went really well with it. The chopped cheese was really good, and onion rings were crispy, hot, and seasoned. Highly recommend this place. Everything I've had there is good.“

“Grilled chicken happens daily. The salsa you get with it is freshly made and it's very tasty. It can vary based on who makes it for the day or week. I will say get extra pita bread because I always have left overs when getting half a chicken. Also very affordable“

“This restaurant is in a stripe mall near the laundry. I wanted to get some food while I waited for my clothes to finish in the washer, but I took it to go. I walked into the establishment, met with a clean restaurant and a extremely nice cashier. I told the cashier that I wanted authentic food as some of the menu items appeared to be American food. He told his time to educate me about the menu and make recommends. I settled on the combination bowl with gryo, chicken, rice, and vegetables. The meal included pita bread. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and during this time. I enjoyed talking with the cashier to learn about other meal options to choose from on my next visit. He gave me a card with a QR code to receive 10% off within the next seven days for either pick up or delivery. I thought the entire experience was super dope! I feel so comfortable and welcomed. Next, I opened my bag to find a well portion size meal and met with the most delicious 😋 smells from the chicken and gyro meat. I dig into my plate and met with flavor! The food was not overpowering! The rice was good, a little dry, but if you add the white sauce makes it even better. The pita bread was butter and came apart so nicely! I was given a chocolate 🍫 chip cookie to go. I appreciate the personal touch. The whole meal was so good. I would gladly come back to them. Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food.“

“ive never completely decimated an order of chicken like I have from bb.q chicken. im gonna be honest i blacked out. i tried the cheeseling chicken for the first time cause i had no idea how itd taste and it was surprisingly balanced and richly sweet. the chicken fell off the bone and the bones practically fell apart with it. when i woke up i was struck with Holy Visions. i was valedictorian of my class. i had 5 million in my bank account. and everyone was cheering for me and giving me full timejob offers with benefits. needless to say it was good as hell 5 starts“

“Probably the best location in the chain I've ever gone to, and I've probably gone to 50 of them around the country. The staff here are always well dressed, polite, smart and they h-u-s-t-l-e. Everything just runs well and reeks of well-organized trained people. As a result, there are no long crazy lines here, even on busy weekends. I can think of some specific locations in Georgia and Colorado that could learn a lesson or two from this owner/operator.“
