I ordered the tofu pad thai and lime chicken. Highly recommend these two dishes.

The lime chicken is nice and crispy and comes with a good amount of rice (in a fancy silver container). The pad thai is standard and always a solid pick. I just wish they put more peanuts in it!“

“This is a Thai place that is fairly new to the area. I ordered Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao, and Crab Rangoon. Wow— I love it! This may be my favorite place for Thai in Chicago. Spice level is perfect for those who love to eat spicy dishy- it is actually spicy, not American spicy.

Lots of Thai places don’t sell Pineapple fried rice which is one of my favorite dishes. It tastes perfect and authentic!

“Rice Thai is an excellent restaurant run by wonderful people that I discovered by way of an annual conference that I attend each summer. Last year, I brought a group of about ten people from that conference to Rice Thai for dinner, and we had a fantastic time: great food and very friendly staff who did a great job welcoming and feeding several groups of conference attendees. Although I was not able to dine during this year's annual trip (with another group of ten), the owner remembered me from last year and we had a nice conversation while they finished packing our food. I had called ahead, and they had tried really hard to accommodate us for dine in, and I really appreciated that. My group had such a great experience that we were determined to at least enjoy their take out. As with the previous year, the folks at Rice Thai cooked delicious food. I will be visiting again next summer, and I know that I can count on meeting very good people and enjoying a great dinner whether we dine in or take out.“

Not only is their menu extensive and their food incredible, they really care about their community, the service is amazing and they always do whatever they can to help you out. The noodle dish was soooo yummy and had great flavor. While eating our food, Sue, the owner, checked up on us and chatted with us as we ate. “In-On Thai is truly the hidden gem of Chicago's Thai food scene. This family-run establishment offers the most authentic Bangkok-style cuisine I've experienced outside of Thailand. The husband-and-wife team who run the place are incredibly warm and attentive, often stopping by tables to chat and make recommendations.

Their Panang curry is legendary and their green curry might be the best in the city. The pad see ew has perfect wok hei flavor, and their crispy fish with jungle salad is a unique must-try. Don't skip crab wontons and papaya salad as starters - they're exceptional. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste the freshness and care in every dish.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy with a cute ambiance. It's BYOB (conveniently, there's a liquor store next door), and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. The food comes out surprisingly fast, and portions are generous.

We’ve finally found our go to place to order from! Food is always delivered still warm and fresh. You can choose your spice level and even the medium be quite spicy so order accordingly. “Ben’s is my go-to Thai restaraunt. I’ve ordered takeout from them loads of times and have always been happy. The portions are generous and I feel it is a good value for my money. My favorite is the chive dumplings (although they stick together so I wish they would package them differently). They also have a weekday lunch special that is a good deal.

I saw someone mention how they didnt like their food and had a problem with the to-go cups having a lot of ice in it. I believe they freeze the styrofoam cups with water so there is a cup-shaped large ice cube in their to go drinks. Simple solution is to ask for no ice :)

I can't say enough about how well both lunch specials tasted. Peak level of flavors and a warm touch of authentic family cooking. The pad thai sauce was amazing and an instant recommendation. The Pad kee mao noodles texture were tender and bouncy. The spice was above medium and enhanced the meal. The teas had a balanced sweetness and plenty of textures.
The music playlist matched the cozy and bold color pops. The staff were very friendly and offered some samples of the delicious Ube ice cream. Over all my new favorite Thai restaurant and will explore more of the menu.“

“Very fresh sushi (banging hamachi 10/10. Tasted like fatty hamachi which I love.) and a very unique dish I have never seen before: fried salmon skin sushi (fabulous choice for people who don't eat raw food). Make sure if you like it spicy you say extra spicy cause they tend to dull down the spicy for most customers. If you don't they have extra spicy sauce on the side though. Very delicious noodles 8.5/10. BYOB! Beautiful restaurant. The front entrance foyer has tons of anime stickers like stickers to take wonderful photos in front of. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. Great for a date night (low lighting). Great entree portions“
