“Bamboo Spoon has such a great selection of things I never make it back to try them all .. They do Frozen Yogurt, many flavors with lots of stuff to put it in, they just added a premium high milkfat ice cream .. they do organic smoothies and lots of different bubble teas .. they also have the 'protien' so that one could go there with people on a couple of diets, ones that didn't care and some kids and everyone would find something they liked... And something they would like to try next time! They are happy to customize for you! Everything is clean and well managed, and everyone is pleasant. I stop there regularly .. Nice stop after dinner in the Arboretum or after a massage at Elements next door! :)“

Sure the price reflects that sometimes but will you rather pay $8 for a blizzard with 2 Oreo cookies in it or $10 for one with 8 Oreos in it? I love the Oreo blizzard and Reese’s. “I visited the Crystal Lake Culver’s on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 35 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. “I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back to visit, I'll be stopping here for a malt!“

I visited the Deer Park store with my son, and when he had a meltdown over losing his favorite toy, the crew member (Sri) went above and beyond. She directed us to a quiet area to help calm him down, then checked in on us with a thoughtful gift for my son, which made his day (it was his birthday!). This is the first one that actually filled the cup with Oreos. I order a medium blizzard oreo with extra oreo.

To my surprise they filled it with Oreos!. Unlike other places that I ask for extra oreo and you can’t see any. This place filled it up im super happy I will definitely be back here.“
