“We found our new sushi place! We ordered three rolls that were amazing and our server was very friendly. The food came out very quick and I thought it was reasonably priced compared to other sushi restaurants that are very expensive in the area. 10/10 will be back again!“

“We ordered sushi for take out from here on a whim (after our regular place turned out so busy on Good Friday that they disconnected their phone and turned off online ordering). They have a great selection of maki, both basics and specialty rolls at very fair prices. Edamame was piping hot when we got it home. We found a nice surprise in our order - they had included 2 ice cream desserts with a hand written note to have a good night on the box. Really sweet touch. Everything was fresh and yummy - I also feel like the specialty roll portions were very sizeable. Will definitely come back again to try some of the bento meals and udon noodles! Thanks :)“

“I came in to grab a quick lunch and was really impressed by the service, quality, and atmosphere. The lady in the front was super sweet, really attentive and patient. The sushi chef was obviously a skilled man by looking at his knife skills. The food tasted fresh. The fish in my sushi bibimbop was fresh, as well as the mango and salad. Ingredients look like it was maintained and stored to proper procedures. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi or poke. I can't wait to work around the area again to visit!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible ramp and handicap parking in front.“

“The service is always amazing, the green tea is fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely and the sushi is out of this world! The sushi chefs are VERY conscientious of food allergies and modifications are not only recommended but often accommodated. We highly suggest the edamame with garlic, salt and spice. Delicious!! For sushi their Grinch roll is a must. We have never been disappointed with anything we’ve tried and we have went way outside of our comfort zone a few times. ;)“

“This has quickly become my 'go to' place for sushi. I've had quite a variety of their rolls, and everything was quite good! In-person dining is best described as intimate owing to the small size of the restaurant. If you're claustrophobic, this might be off putting. Seems clean; a bit heavy on dark wood. Service was efficient, though the woman that served our table during my first visit seemed overwhelmed (I believe she was the sole server). Poor thing! My preference is to order for takeout so I can pig out in private at home. If you love the spicy kick of wasabi as I do, don't hesitate to ask for extra--they'll readily compliment your order with more. Overall, good quality sushi in terms of sizes of the rolls and taste, at price points that won't cause considerable angst. I can, and do, recommend Abishari with great ease.“

“This place is legit. We came here for the Korean Sashimi experience. I wasn't expecting much since this place is in a pretty unassuming strip mall but the quality of the fish is what did it for me. I believe the owner buys an entire tuna and expertly slices different parts himself. I had the best tasting sashimi here. And as much fish as I have had in my life I found myself asking the waitress what part of the tuna I was eating. First time trying Tuna jaw meat and it was astounding. The amount of toro grade tuna that was served amazed me. Service was a bit slow but with high quality fresh fish that they serve all was forgiven. 5 stars all the way.“

“Excellent little dine-in place with great portions and picture-perfect plating. The Tonkotsu ramen was piping hot and generous with the serving, and the potato croquettes were perfect in just about every way. For the money, it's hard to do much better than this. The dine-in area is a bit spartan, but it does the job. They were playing some lovely City Pop music so the vibes were right. Will be back sometime for sure.“

“Amazing food. This restaurant has the HIGHEST quality salmon (sake) in the Chicagoland area. The portions are generous, and the freshness is unmatched. Service is quick! Ambiance is what you'd expect for a small sushi restaurant. 11/10, I'd highly recommend the Sake Don!“

“This place has a good ambience and nice drinks. My wife loved her drink( fire and ice). Food was good, their rack of lamb was delicious but their chicken fried rice missed something ( some spices I guess) and was OK. Sushi rolls were too good to Not miss. Veg pot stickers are also good. Service was good.“

“To the person who said slow service, there is only 3 people who work there, they are working hard trying to feed a full dining room, i love this restaurant i have been coming here since i was a baby, literally, they have great service, great food, for a great price, if your willing to pay the price they will give you excellent service, this place is a home to me, they have become my family, i wish all of the staff the best of luck and a good bright future.Vegetarian options: They have gluten free soy sauce and imitation crab so im sure theres alot of stuff people can haveDietary restrictions: They offer gluten free soy sauce and it is awesome! “Service and atmosphere was nice. Sushi was tasty. I liked the volcano. I also enjoyed the appetizers. I tried the Misso soup, the calamari and the veggies roles. They also have individual sushi pieces which I wish I noticed them first before I order the other stuff. It is very very price. I paid rounded 41 dollars just for my self. 28 rounded all you can eat which is 27 something dollars plus a drink. I order tea and tip. Taxes were rounded 4 dollars. 40 for 1 person al you can eat buffet too expensive. Some sushi was no real sushi but it was tasty.“

“The only negative thing I will say about it is the music was turned up a little too loud.Aside from that, everything we had was incredible. Our 8 year old daughter inhaled her chicken gyoza & chicken teriyaki rolls. We ordered the King Lobster, Mango Tango, Boston & Philadelphia rolls and they were all delicious. Will definitely remember this place the next time we're here from WI.“

“First time dining here since the ownership changed and I'll definitely be back. Restaurant is spacious, comfortable and clean. We came Friday for lunch and tried their lunch specials which come with soup. I tried the Orange Shrimp (pictured), Sushi Platter and Beef with Mixed Vegetables. Both the sushi and Chinese dishes were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the hot & sour soup with my platter which is one way I gauge the authenticity & quality of a Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The soup and dishes we ordered reminded me of my parent's restaurant which they ran for over 30 years. There are very few restaurants serving quality Chinese dishes in the Northwest suburbs so come out and support this restaurant.“

“I finally discovered this cosy restaurant which was on my list quite awhile. Everything we tried today was excellent. Miso soup and boiled edamame were just as good as expected. The highlight of my dinner was a sashimi plate! The quality of the medium fatty blue fin tuna and lean blue fin tuna was outstanding. Sake toro and escolar sashimi were mouthwatering. The charred flavor of my husband's squid and mushrooms was delightful. His skewers of chicken and beef were well prepared. His sushi selection of octopus, squid, egg and smoked salmon was fresh and well presented. We were really impressed by the very generous portions and the very fair pricing of the outstanding quality fish compared to the other Japanese restaurants. The sake selection is fantastic and reasonably priced as well. The service was attentive and efficient. We cannot wait to come back. I highly recommend!“

“I ordered a bowl for pickup through their website. I chose crab sticks for my main protein. Extra $1 each to add avocado and crabstick salad. It was delicious and the sushi rice was hot. Bowl was ready at their estimated time. My only complaint is that they forgot 3 of the ingredients that were written on the receipt: pineapple, mango, sweet onion. There was no extra charge for these so I wasn't too upset about it but forgetting 3 items in the bowl is kind of a lot. Next time I'll order there inside the restaurant.“

“Good local Chinese take out place. The only critique would be to to change the sesame chicken recipe because it looked and tasted exactly like the orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Sesame chicken meat was tough too, we were disappointed with that dish. Otherwise we will be back to try more things off the menu.“

“An Unforgettable Sushi Experience at Bistro Wasabi! From the moment I stepped into Bistro Wasabi in Hoffman Estates, I knew I was in for a treat. This place has completely redefined sushi for me, and it's no exaggeration to say that it's the best sushi experience I've ever had!The quality of the food is simply outstanding. Each dish we tried was a masterpiece of flavors, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls are fresh, inventive, and delight the taste buds with every bite. “Tokio Sake is a special place for our family. When we dine in person, we always find the staff attentive and friendly. You can also watch the sushi chefs meticulously preparing the sushi. They are prompt when we place take out orders. Most important of all, the caliber of the sushi is outstanding. We are a family of 6 and we all rate Tokio Sake sushi as the best in the area. Some of our favorites are Spicy Tuna Crunch and Alaska Roll. If you're looking for a great dining experience, this is the place for you!“

“The all-you-can-eat dinner is a good way to try many things on the menu. I have tried about ten different rolls over the years. My two favorite rolls are Black Dragon and Snow Mountain (see the attached picture). The Snow Mountain Roll is not on the all-you-can-eat menu. For some reason, the salmon tasted slightly fishy this time. One time we came as a large party and only two people wanted the all-you-can-eat option. We were told that everyone at the table needed to order all-you-can-eat. I can understand the reasoning for that.“

“Sushi Para is a fantastic surprise! From the outside, you might not expect much, especially being on a busy street like Dundee. But wow, once inside, the sushi is amazing. For just $16.99, you can eat all the sushi you want, and it’s all so fresh and delicious. I loved everything from the miso soup to the sushi rolls. Despite the simple look of the place, the food quality is top-notch because they keep everything super fresh. It’s a great deal for such tasty food. I gave them five stars and can’t wait to visit again with my family. Everyone should try SushiPara!“

“This place is a hidden gem. It's not much to look at but dont be fooled! The sushi is fresh and delicious. I ordered a seaweed salad, salmon roll, and a dragon roll on my last trip. The seaweed salad is a bit small, but very tasty. It comes garnished with sesame seeds. The salmon roll was fresh and better quality than other places in this area. The dragon roll had a perfect balance of roll, sauce and eel. Generally I do not like to order eel because it is very easy to screw up but this roll was perfect. I will add pictures on another trip. If you are considering going definitely try this place out. You will not be disappointed!“

“Great place and food is very good depending what you get. Do not get their chicken is only thing I don't like from here. They need to have more than 1 server though because poor lady works her butt off while she is alone. Common occurrence so please be patient with the waitress you have.“

“Hidden gem located in the suburb area. Friendly staffs, clean and comfortable seating restaurant with decent size menu. Reasonable price with the portions. Foods arrived pretty quick. Plain Egg noodles soup was on point with light broth, the egg noodles were perfectly cooked. Tender beef in flavorful black pepper sauce, peatips sprouts and water spinach were delicious in light flavor with garlic. Beef Chow fun was good not overly oily. Overall we enjoyed our quiet dinner. We can’t wait to return .“
