“Last second decision to stop and grab a quick bite on my way back to Indiana. Glad I stopped. Very friendly service at the counter. The price was right! Beef sandwich had great flavor and the bread was fresh. I didn't have time to wait for a fresh pizza so I bought a pre made slice. Honestly I was reluctant to make that choice but I'm glad I did!!! Pizza was fantastic. Will definitely find my way back there soon. Keep up the great work!!“

It is a bar, and has limited space, but for 2 of us at lunchtime we had the whole back room that was quiet. Cici was super nice and attentive. We very much enjoyed our visit.“

“I have eaten this pizza since I was a little kid. It’s the same!! I’m so happy! It’s so cool to eat something that you grew up eating. The Barton’s crust is very specific and delicious. I love their cheese. My kids like it now so I get to eat it all the time. They have excellent cheese bread too. “We went to Johns in Dyer and had a fabulous experience. We went for my birthday. 4 adults and eight grandchildren. The food was amazing and the service was awesome and the boys making the pizzas were so nice to the kids. The kids were watching through the window and the cooks were interacting with the kids. They had a blast and are already talking about how they want to go back. We will be definitely visiting Johns soon! “Excited to try the empanadas at Empanadus in Homewood on Ridge Road. It is a nice cafe and eatery offering a variety of empanadas for all dietary needs. They are served very warm and the type of empanada is branded into the outside crust. They are a good sized portion and the filling can be tasted with each bite. I bought a variety and it was easy to identify which one was beef, sausage, spinach, vegan, etc. they also offer a variety of coffees too. Would definitely suggest you give it a visit.“
