“Been a few years since I have been back to Weegee's and after taking one step it felt like old times. Vibe and atmosphere were awesome and couldn't have been better. Had a bartender named Jim kid was phenomenal, newer kid so I got a variety of drinks and he killed it. Will 100% be coming back soon no way am I going years between visits. “My sister had a special event there and every was exquisite from the food to the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the bar tender was rude, very unprofessional, he made the experience with us very lack luster. If that is the person serving our drinks I wouldn't trust because before the end of the night he would serve us drinks or food. yet he still served everyone else.“

“I attended a party in the party room. There was a cash bar in the room and the attendants were really nice. The room was a very nice size. They allow you to decorate. There are about 10 round tables and chairs provided as well. In addition, you can also bring your own food. Even with the table and chairs, there was space for the dessert table, DJ booth as well as a balloon arch with backdrop for photos. Oh, one final thing, the room has its own entrance from the parking lot and two bathrooms for your party guests.“

“I’ve only stopped by this place a handful of times, but it’s honestly a great spot for a late-night hangout 🌙🍻. The vibe is really chill and it’s perfect when you’re out late and still want somewhere to grab a drink and relax 😎✨.

One of the best things is their hours they stay open until 4 AM on the weekends and even until 5 AM on Saturdays, which is amazing if you’re not ready to call it a night just yet ⏰🔥. It’s definitely a reliable go-to when most other places are already closed. Overall, a solid late-night bar that I’d keep coming back to! 👍“

Although it was disappointing at the time, they went out of their way to make arrangements for us, including offering a table and drinks to ensure we had a better experience. “Neighborhood place . Enjoyed myself the DJ was ok in his defense he played what was requested , but when he was doing his thing he had everyone on the floor. Make sure you check out Byrd the barmaid, you'll Thank me and her later. Atmosphere was laid back but fun“

“Chuck's has quite a few Cajun inspired dishes on the menu. My friend enjoyed her chicken fried steak, I think it was. It looked very good. The cheese curds were delicious! My baked potato was good and I also enjoyed my coleslaw. I think Chuck's has good food. I've been there more than a few times.“

“I came here for a couple drinks with a few friends after work. They have a lot of good options to drink including Delirium. The bartender was very nice and you could tell she had some regulars that she enjoyed talking with. They also have free pool if you’re into that. Overall, it was a solid time.“

Excellent vibe if you like House music. They also host House Calls events there first Thursday of every month.

“Came here as stop on our crab Rangoon crawl! Came at 5 pm on a Saturday night with a group of 10 and no reservation and the service WAS INCREDIBLE! Thought they would laugh us out the door but they immediately jumped into action and were able to configure a small seating section in the cocktail bar side for us so we could have our group huddled together between the bar and chairs. Great cocktails and cannot be more impressed by the staff“

“Fantastic venue, free parking right next to the venue, first come first serve and it is a small lot. The restaurant/bar is open until 10 on show days. Everything is reasonably priced and they offer free tap water. Very happy with my experience overall.“

“Just had lunch with my neighbor Jorge and as usual was NOT disappointed! Chris was her usual friendly self. She’s always on the ball about pleasing people and sending them home happy and full. Rose was the waitress everyone dreams of. Patient and funny all in the same breath. If you haven’t been to LaVilla I highly recommend a visit. You will want to return again and again! I’d be there more often but I have no self control. 🤣“

“walked by randomly on a Wednesday and went to the bar where I heard some music. the band was excellent, a really unique style, but brilliant. but the best part was meeting Thomas, the bar manager. as soon as I walked in he greeted me warmly and upon hearing it's my first time in Chicago, a shot was poured and I got the lowdown on local beers. I had a good chat with Thomas and could see how he was well liked by everyone there. would love to go back“

The bathroom needs to be gutted. It’s terrible. I got water all over my self from something leaking. Looks like they have put 30 coats of paint over everything. It’s falling apart in there! The lighting in the bar was terrible. It literally feels like I’m in a dark basement. I would love to see this place get an over haul because it was great potential with the nice staff and great customers. Very very very welcoming!!“
