“OH MY GOODNESS!!! stopped in on a whim because chicago traffic had my anxiety high, expected it to be packed because of parking and traffic but it was so calm and relaxing inside!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful with the menu. The limon margarita definitely helped me relax and the amazing Birria tacos had me dancing in my chair!! Also snagged some Al Pastor tacos for their Wednesday menu deal! It was an amazing lunch that barely dented the wallet, will absolutely be back here (despite my traffic anxieties)“

“The wife and I went back to the old neighborhood to visit somebody at the hospital driving around we found modern plate. We figure we’d give it a try. There is no doubt in my mind that this place eventually will be a five star restaurant. The food was phenomenal service atmosphere But I will tell you this much. Don’t go there with your good. Looks thinking you’re gonna buy something bring your cash, but it’s well worth it. The wife and I cannot wait to go back to try something else.“

“First time here since the Rivers Casino expansion. Nice long bar with plenty of seats. Vibe and music is bumpin' as well. Ordered a Dirty Martini and was asked if I wanted dry vermouth with it. Friendly and smiley bartenders. Cute martini glass but could not really taste the alcohol. Some interesting characters at the casino in general, but more so here sitting at the bar. There are game machines on the bar top as well.“

“This is one of my favorite bars in the city. I love that it's nearby my neighborhood, it's a lovely addition to the area. The food is delicious, I recommend the dill pickle pasta salad and the burger. The cocktail menu changes seasonally I think, so there's always something new to try. Cocktails are always nicely balanced and tasty. The staff is so friendly and I love the atmosphere. Busy on the weekends but weeknights are a bit quieter. Visit immediately.“

“Everything was great. From the food to the service and even the prices. My husband and I went for Valentines day. We got the V-Day which was a birria pizza n desert for $25. My husband had the ground beef enchilada dinner. We both had a passion fruit margarita. The birria pizza was cooked to perfection. The meat was seasoned, tender, and tasty. The consome was 10 out of 10. My husband said every in the enchiladas dinner was good. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The wife took the order and had a wonderful conversation with us. “We feel fortunate to have experienced the ambience, staff, and food at Libertad. Everything was superb. We sat at a table near the front windows and were waited on by Jenny, who was a treasure. She remembered us as well as stories we shared with her in August 2025, the first time we visited Libertad! The appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts were all outstanding. Thank you to everyone who makes Libertad so special, we'll go back again and again and will recommend Libertad to all of our friends.“

Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“
