“Best BB.Q franchise for me. Gives the biggest peices, excellent saucing, and service.

For whatever reason many BB.Q Chicken locations only allow you to select only one flavor for a medium order. So if you want two different flavors you have to pay the higher charge to get two small sizes In different flavors. This location allows me to order two separate flavors for a medium order which saves me a headache, and a little money. I am willing to drive 5 minutes further to go to this location than the other 3 or so BB.Q locations that are slightly closer as a result. Keep up the good work guys!“

“Rating this place is difficult because I love BBQ and I’ve been searching for a good one for awhile. The first time coming here (take out) was fantastic. Plenty of food, good prices, good service, and delicious food. The second time (dine -in) following a few months was not the same. Food was not all that tasty and Mac & cheese is always spicy regardless requesting without spice. It just didn’t hit the same. I do enjoy this place and want to visit a third but unsure if it’ll be like loving my first visit or settling like my second visit. Regardless, I still believe this might be one of the best BBQ place in the suburbs, which coming from is says a lot. I have had plenty of ribs from plenty of places!“

“The quality of the meat here is truly exceptional—fresh, tender, and full of flavor. You can immediately tell they take pride in what they serve. The side dishes are just as impressive: everything is clean, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. They honestly remind me of my mom’s homemade cooking, which says a lot.
One of my absolute favorites here is the mul naengmyeon. The broth is incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the noodles have that ideal chewy texture. It’s easily the best naengmyeon I’ve had in Chicago—nothing else even comes close. Every visit here feels like a comforting, high-quality dining experience.“

“Amazing experience at Mother’s Apron Korean BBQ! Fantastic food quality, generous portion sizes, experienced and kind service, and an upscale atmosphere. We got the Mother’s Queen Set and there was plenty left over with 3 people. The meat was high quality and the banchan was also delicious. Worth the price. Our waiter Patrick was awesome! Can’t wait to come back again.“

“Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! Thanks for making our wedding the best day of our lives(: not to mention EVERY guest couldn’t stop talking about how fun the venue was and there was something for everyone to do, wiffleball, volleyball, giant beer pong, bags, dancing, and more! “My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! The food was delicious, with a great mix of Pakistani and Indian veg and non-veg dishes. The place was clean, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

One suggestion: they take orders orally, which led to a mistake in our order. It would be better if they wrote orders down to avoid any confusion in the future.
