“The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Sydney served us today and did an awesome job! I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. She was very thorough in making sure my meal was safe for me to eat. The owner I’ve the restaurant even came over to talk with me about a cocktail I ordered and substituted one alcohol for any other to ensure that it was gluten free. The care they took in preparing our meals and drinks was really impressive and they were also very kind and fun! We will definitely be back!!“

“This is my favorite place to visit for celebrations. In fact, I dine here on my birthday every year. The food is always delicious, and the servers are friendly and attentive. The turf room can be a bit pricey, but it is well worth the money. Try the ribeye!“

It's amazing. How do they make better shawarma than most shawarma places around here?!Birria grilled cheese- good but the wings and shawarma have my heart.Seriously you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't try these things at least once if you come here. Personally, I would recommend the wings, brie burger, and chicken shawarma sandwich. Legit I still think about them and it's been a month since we have been there. “Atwater restaurant was superb. The only down side was the aspect of handicap accessible entrance and outside entrance handicap parking. The ramp wasn't very conducive for handicap wheelchairs, scooters or walkers. It is my request that the Herrington really examine accessibility to all would be ideal for future guests.“

“Came here with friends. Ambiance was really lovely and warm set in a gorgeous old building. Good selection of drinks, service was professional and pleasant. The food was on the better side of average. Perhaps i ordered poorly. My Arctic Char was overcooked. Spatzle was drowning in sauce. My husbands slow-cooked ribs were good, the fennel in the lamb was slightly overpowering. The octopus starter was slightly overcooked. The shrimp bao was a winner. Desserts were delicious. The plating for everything was attractive. Would I return? Unlikely, given that we travelled for this.“

“We had such a fantastic night here as a family of 8 people and were taken incredible care of by Gino, our server. The staff was kind, engaging, and friendly and all worked hard to support each other considering how busy it was! The food was to die for, and Gino went as far as to get us an extra take-home container of a dressing we absolutely loved, because he was that great to us! My ONLY complaint would be the need for another bathroom or two, but when Gino saw me waiting, he escorted me to a back bathroom so that I didn’t arrive back at our table after our food was already served! The drinks were wonderful and the dessert was great! We WILL be back, and can’t wait to tell our friends and family how much we recommend The James. “Instant favorite. My review is for the restaurant - Danny Boys. I 'found' this place while biking a few years ago. Was sitting across the street taking a breather when I spotted the restoration of this building. I believe they've been open for a while now, but we finally managed to stop in with some friends last night. The menu was slightly different there than the one I saw online, but the in-house menu seemed to have more options. Either way, they have a wide variety of choices ranging from burgers to traditional German plates to tacos, which I ordered. This was a group of three terrific taco's and a side of rice that will make me go back for more. My son had the plate of dumplings which I tried, also just as good. The service here was quick and very friendly. We're interested to come back in the summer when the outdoor patio is open. Cheers.“

“Great place! I was blown away by the battered cod dinner. At $12.99 it was excellent. Probably the best fried cod I've ever had at a restaurant. Had the smoked Old Fashioned and it was carefully hand crafted before my eyes. My lunch companions has a burger and the weinerschitnzal (spelled wrong) and everyone loved the food.“

The host greeted us promptly and gave us two options for seating; and asked if any of us had food allergies...this was a nice surprise since my kids have a food allergy and nobody ever asks us. The host made it a point that he would notify the waitstaff and kitchen staff.The service was fast and efficient, our food was awesome, and the entire staff was accommodating to our two kids. “It was an absolute blast for lunch for 2! We had a Italian beef and giardiniera pizza that Mike and Denise's absolutely knocked out out of the park! Tuesday is half off pizza so we definitely took advantage of their amazing special! I had a ice cold Stella Artois that paired perfectly with the pizza. We dug into the buffalos shrimp as well and they definitely stood out from other pizza shops!“

“I was looking for a bar tonight to have a chill Wednesday night and play some darts with my girlfriend and have a few drinks. The bartender was very accommodating to my picky girlfriend who didn’t know what she wanted, even though they were very busy. Before we left, the bartender offered us a free shot of Malort because my girlfriend hadn’t tried it before. So friendly and awesome. Great dartboard. 10/10. She even did the Guinness draught right with the creamy stuff on top.“

“We love the food. It's never wavered even through different owners. But our complaint is It's ALWAYS really cold in there. Today was even worse because the sweet lady who took our order kept the drive up window open to talk. We try not to sit near the door because of cold but we sit up front and it's even worse. Please- spend a few more dollars and warm the place up during the winter months???“
