“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“Caraway’s Bar & Grill is such a hidden gem! It’s a family-owned bar and grill and you can truly feel that warm, welcoming energy the moment you walk in. The owners are incredibly inviting and friendly!
The atmosphere is great. The food was amazing. The hot honey flatbread was our favorite we almost ordered two! And the poutine? So good. The brown gravy they put on the fries was delish.
We went on Monday they had drink specials so we had gotten $9 margarita, I tried the cucumber jalapeño margarita and it was SO good, the perfect mix of refreshing and spicy.
It was also such a nice touch that the chef came out and introduced himself. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their guests.
Highly recommend checking this place out, we’ll definitely be back, especially in the summer when they open up the large windows for that perfect warm vibe!“

“Pretty good menu. Lots of grilled cheeses and at first I was skeptical but it really is flavorful. My favorite monthly sandwich I wish could be turned into a standard sandwich is the cubano. Loaded tots are also very good.“

“Great sports bar with walls full of televisions to watch your favorite sports. The have weekly specials on food, which by the way is super tasty. The Sunday brunch was delicious with bottomless mimosas until 2:00 pm. I highly recommend the standard in the heart of historic wicker park neighborhood in Chicago. My favorite server/bartenders and Alex and Meghan. They were super friendly and make you feel like family.“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “I attended a Private Retirement party here and it was amazing from beginning to end! This neighborhood gem had plenty of seating, great food, great service and the drinks were top shelf!

The DJ was AMAZING and the sound quality was spot on. There were board games, Jenga and everyone had an amazing time. The host put her spin on it with the decorations and photo booth but the owners really made you feel WELCOME!“

“i’m writing this review as i’m still sitting in the booth because it was just THAT good.

i ordered the french onion burger with the regular fries on the side, and let me tell you i haven’t had a burger check every box like this one. the garlic aioli was the perfect amount of flavor to complement the caramelized onions. the bun was seemingly buttered and fluffy. and the fries!! they had a flakey salt with not one fry left unsalted. they were also thin and crispy to perfection.

the service was great and every staff member was always smiling. i never write reviews but this one felt very necessary. 5 stars from me!“

“Great local find! The patio/beer garden is dog friendly with a fire pit, TVs and really nice comfortable seating, plus lawn games connect 4. There was a nicer wine selection than I was expecting for a local bar. The inside design was lovely.

New menu just started and fried chicken sandwich was so tasty!! Menu is small but everything we had was very good.

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

“About seven months ago, I moved to the Wicker Park/Logan Square area and decided that the best way to get to know my new neighborhood was to explore the bars along Milwaukee Avenue. I am so glad I came across Swig.

I arrived alone and was feeling extremely shy, but your employee, Eric, gave me an amazing experience that I truly appreciate. I had a blast! His energy made me feel incredibly welcome because of the wonderful service he provided, I am planning to make Swig a regular weekend hangout spot and look forward to bringing a group of friends with me next time.

“Had the pleasure of hosting my first baby shower here a few weeks back, and despite the covid issues we were still able to pull off an amazing party! With the help of the owner Jessica! Everything was wonderful, plenty of space for guests to keep a social distance, bar option available, a nice stage and Dj booth for music. Everything was very clean and modern. “I LOVE this place cuz it my neighborhood bar but the new hires are charging tooooo much for one drink in a lil PLASTIC cup . It’s not busy like before & I think that’s why. When I started going both sides were jumping the drinks were on point and affordable but now it’s that one side and it’s a lil dead & a lot of times closed! 😒 I don’t know want this place to die out like every other place . Fix it ? ❤️ $38 for 2 drinks ,plastic cups & not even half way full . I got money but that’s ridiculous ! Js.“

Pool playing is pretty big there so If you like to play some serious pool then this is a good place to come... Prices are good for everything here... They have tvs for all kinds of sports but usually no audio because jukebox music is playing... Super cool place to hang out for a little bit.“

“Really cool spot, I was not in bar area, but in room next door for a family party. Cool spot, big space for parties, came with private bar, pool table, arcade game, stage area. Men's bathroom was eh, no parking other then street parking (free after 10).. would def consider throwing a party here if price is good.“
