“Decided to take a ride to Cracker Barrel for the Sunday special southern fried chicken. OMG there was so much food on my plate. I had hash brown casserole and turnip greens for sides. My friend had green beans and mashed potatoes. Way too much food for one meal, but really really delicious. The place was pretty crowded. But our server did a wonderful job. It definitely was a treat to go to Cracker Barrel for Sunday dinner.“

First the No 14 manhattan was perfect. Our server greeted us immediately and brought us the rustic bread and herb butter, very good and then we requested another round of bread. My husband also ordered the baked french onion cup of soup. He thought the cheese was different (not his favorite) and loved the soup base. It wasn't salty like some other places.

My husband had the country pork chops. It is served in a cast iron skillet, with a country/sausage gravy and mashed potatoes. I actually got a little sample. I ordered the lobster roll with a smoked baked potato. It was perfect. We ordered a salted caramel chocolate cake to go. We were stuffed and satisfied.

“Our family stopped in for the Gus’ famous Friday Fish Fry. We had the cod and perch!!!! Super fresh and crunchy!!! Came with homemade coleslaw, choice of potato and a cup of their delicious clam chowder! Service was outstanding! Prices were very reasonable! And, it was so nice to see several families dining there with their Navy graduates!!! Make sure to leave room for one of their mouthwatering desserts! We shared the carrot cake and apple blossom! Great value! Family friendly!“

“The park is incredibly well lit up with lights -- but static and animated to music. Really stunning. Not too crowded (at least when we went). They had many shows (wish we saw more) and characters in costume (Scrooge was great!!!!). Only downside: food prices. $14.99 for a hamburger? $8.79 for cotton candy?“

“It's Culver's, you should know what to expect. This location is very good, I've never had a bad experience.We always do drive thru and they're very efficient with it. I can't give a fast food place more than 4 stars since it's just fast food. Culver's is a bit pricier than other fast food spots, but the quality is better than most.When you get a basket with cheese curds and a shake you're looking at almost $20 so it's not the best value, but that's not the fault of any singular location.“

“What beats a butter burger? Nothing. Of course, if you are not into burgers, you can get the strawberry field salad and enjoy the fruit, nuts, and juicy chicken. What a great combination. “Great food, but Not Sure For a Quick Lunch
We were driving down 173 the other day, saw their sign and tried them out for lunch. You enter into a fairly large dining room with many tables. To the left is a large bar. There was one other couple and two groups of 6-8 seniors having lunch. We later saw that the seniors were bridge players and started playing cards after lunch. Only one server/hostess was working and she worked hard. She took our drink order, ice water for me and fresh brewed Iced Tea ($3.00) for my wife. We then took to studying the expansive menu. It is just like the menu at Dockers down in Fox Lake. You name it, they have it. We see our server refilling drinks for the other diners, bringing out some appetizers, etc. and finally taking our food order. We were in no rush and just sat and talked. Then we saw our server bringing meals out to people that were there way before we got there. Not a good sign as there was another large group still to get their meals in front of us. Our drinks got refilled and we sat some more. Our food finally arrived after an easy half hour, maybe longer. She did explain that it was only her and the cook so that's what took so long. The meals were worth the wait. My wife had the Dockers Style Marinated Chicken Plate ($15.99) with fresh fruit. A warm pita was topped with a juicy and tasty Greek seasoned chicken with a side Greek salad and several slices of fresh fruit. I had the Grecian Salad with Chicken ($15.99). Prior to bringing out our meals, our server asked if I like anchovies on my Greek salad - I sure do and she loaded me up. The salad was composed of plenty of the usual Greek salad ingredients and a very tasty dressing. This could easily be shared. Our meals were excellent, fresh and flavorful! Everything we saw go by looked delicious and we would go back again if we were in the area, just not if we're pressed for time.“

“The Space Burger, Italian Beef, fries and onion rings were very good. Burger was "nice and messy" which means it is good. I wasn't expecting jalapeños on the beef which were an okay addition but a bit too spicy. The rest of the beef sandwich was good. Onion rings and fries were very good. Rings were battered, not breaded, and fries were basic fries which are my favorite type. I don't like greasy, battered or heavily seasoned fries. Just regular fries with salt.“

“Wingstop might as well close there doors cause Sauce & Toss is a hit! The wings were fresh and crispy with just the right amount of sauce. The homemade fries were fresh and tasty ? If you like corn please try the Sweet Corn and you will fall in love ? You can even have it delivered using Doordash if you lazy like me, but for these wings I will get up……..“

“Typically Ive had great food when I order my Sunday lunch for takeout, however I ordered breakfast the other day and was extremely disappointed. The stuffed french toast was cold with no flavor and the cheese cake pancakes were just typical pancakes with a couple small cubes of cheesecake thrown on top. These came with no potatoes or meat so ordered a side of both. Hash browns could have been cooked longer and the sausage patties tasted like rubber. Not a fan if tveir breakfast menu at all for the cost.“

“Welcoming and had reservation, sat in bar with high tops, was a little noisy in the bar area and at times hard to hear. Waiter was busy, but informed us that he would be back in a timely fashion. The waiter was attentive, he took care of all our requests. Manager stopped by with additional item and checked on the table. Food was good, and proper temperatures. Would go back had good food and good service.“
