“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. The music mix is great as well (but possibly because I'm old 😁)! Overall, the place is extremely welcoming, with a selection of games and sofas so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize.“

Owners Tom & Karen are gregarious, fun, interesting people and provide GREAT talented local musicians. The music scene in Wauconda, Illinois is 10 out of ten...bar hopping encouraged. French Martini with Chambourg, an 11 and one drink, my limit...usually. Dancing...FUN! Especially when Karen agrees. Lol. “I love dive bars. Hilltop is perfect in my opinion. Cheap drinks, Great service and low lighting. Is there anything else we need for a good dive? It doesn't smell funky, which is hard to find in the area . Great place to play pool or gamble on your evening out.“

“You know growing up i loved watching the TV Show 'Cheers'. The theme song says something about 'a place where everyone knows your name'... well that describes Bliss Wine Lounge for sure. No, they aren't a big bar like in Cheers, they are a local wine bar with a wide variety of wines for every budget. And the owner, Alex takes the time to connect with each of the patrons and quick to make a recommendation of a wine you will like. It's not fancy but you will feel welcome for sure. They will have live music from time to time and if you join the Wine Club you will get to experience a variety of unique wines that you wont find at the big wine stores. My wife and I love this place.“

There's a selection of sauces at your table. If you have a dining pass, I would suggest visiting this place. If you don't, it will cost you a good penny (18-16 per entree, that does include a side).“

The place needs to at least have a sign that says firehouse! It just looks like a plain white house, my friends have had a hard time trying to find it.
At least paint a "Firehouse with fire trucks" or even better do huge flames 🔥 to make it stand out. It always looks like it is closed, empty and uninviting.“

“The kind-of-like chicken Tortilla soup was very tasty & VERY hot. The Glog had a different taste than I'm used to, but it tasted okay and was heated to the correct temperature.

Another person had the broasted chicken that had been recommended, and if he could, he probably would have devoured the bones!

My mom had the tacos and said they were yummy.

My next visit I had sangria & the Thanksgiving sandwich & friend had the tuna tacos.

The chutney on the turkey sandwich wasn't to my liking, but everything else was very good.“
