“I grew up in Tinley Park and the Olympic Star has been a staple in our city forever. I'm now out of state but every time we're back in the Chicago area we go to the Star. Everything is phenomenal in this restaurant and the Chicken Soup is to die for, it's so good we went home with 3 qts of it to take it home out-of-state“

“I always have wonderful food at this restaurant. I loved that they had liver, and it was fresh. Very tasty.

“Cream of mushroom soup is good. Home made soups are good. The breaded tenderloin sandwich with mashed potatoes was good. Showed up a bit weird though. The breaded tenderloin was on top of the bread with mashed potatoes and gravy to the side. The entire dish was then covered in brown gravy. There was no way possible to make a sandwich, but I cut it all up together and ate it as a mix. It was still good.“

“Great atmosphere, excellent service...we even know some of the waitresses and have come to know the rest. They are super nice and friendly. Menu options are legit and portion sizes are very generous. Everything I have had here is made to perfection especially their chicken soup and stuffed avocado and stuffed tomato. Their French dip is Tops! Keep doing what you are doing. :)“

“Coming here is my favorite treat every weekend. Over time we have gotten yo know the boss and workers. Everyone there is very friendly and up beat. I have been going through some hardship in life ,but when I come here it is all forgotten. I have to mention that the food is excellent and made with the freshest ingredients.“

“I’m an over the road truck driver and I usually start my day by looking for a good coffee shop and this place has to be one of my favorites so far. The cafe mocha I ordered was excellent and my breakfast burrito was fresh with real ingredients and didn’t taste generic. I will definitely stop by again anytime I’m in the area“

“The food was fresh and piping hot as the waitress brought it out to everyone in my 5-person party. I had the meatlovers skillet. The meats were cooked to my liking, no uncooked bacon, and the potatoes were fully cooked to perfection. The eggs were cheesy and blended together easily in my skillet. The pancakes were fluffy and hot with my meal. The wait was semi long for table/booth, but the food didn't disappoint.“
