“I threw a party here this past weekend! The atmosphere was fun with lots of dancing and good food. We had the macaroni and cheese, jerk egg rolls, spaghetti, sub sandwiches, and fried chicken wings off the catering menu. Everything was delicious, There's plenty of room and a lot of tvs if you just want to chill and watch a game. I would definitely go back again.“

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

“This was my 2nd time at Casa de Tacos y Tequila. I ordered the birria torta with rice and beans. Their birria is made with lamb, and is flavorful and tender. I really enjoyed it. The sides I had, in my opinion, were mediocre. We went during Happy Hour showcasing $5 margaritas and 2 for $4 tacos. Margaritas were great, and my friends enjoyed the tacos! I'd return!“

“From the moment I first bit into those steak tacos about 3 months ago I cannot stop going to this place. Juicy, tender, well-seasoned steak on corn tortillas with loads of fresh cilantro and onions! Even the salsa! Amazing! Tacos so good I could cry. No really. I recently switched from a place I’ve been going to since childhood due to a decrease in quality and who would have known a taqueria within Pete’s would make me believe in true taco love again. Give these people a raise!

Sometimes there could be inconsistency with the rice and beans but overall still enjoyable.

“I got the taco dinner and the nacho fries. First, the size of the taco dinner is actually really good for the price. I got double rice and no beans because I’m not a fan of refried beans. The nacho fries were HEFTY. I picked up the container and HOLY MOLY! It was A LOT of food! Definitely a great price! Will be ordering again!“

“Bit of a wait which is ok since I am a patient person. Tried the steak tacos, actually very flavorful but fell apart when trying to eat it. Not the best value as I paid 12$ for 2 tacos. Portions are a bit small on the taco but less calories that way. I would give this place a 7/10 has lots of room to improve.“

“I love this place. They have multiple locations; I used to live just a couple miles from the Dyer spot, but since I've moved an hour away, I still come back a couple times a year for the food, and it's the same no matter which location you visit.
I highly recommend the chicken quesadillas with a side of rice (my favorite!) or the steak sopes. Truly exceptional Mexican fare for a very reasonable price!“
