“This place was delicious! We got the bbq chicken and gyro pizza as well as the combination gyro/chicken over rice. The pizza was made to near perfection, had a good crunch with an impactful flavor. The rice dish was good; it was very flavorful, but I think the meat to rice ratio was a bit off (needed more rice) and I wish the pita was toasted rather than microwaved. Aside from that I was very happy with everything and will definitely be back!“
“The owner of the establishment was so nice and walked us through the menu when we told him it was our first visit to the restaurant! We ended up ordering a chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken was very well cooked and paired nicely with the garlic sauce, tahini, and fries. I really enjoyed the food portions as well and thought the prices were fair! There was plenty of seating the restaurant itself is well kept. I will definitely be back soon!!“
“First time trying this tonight. Best tacos in the Western Suburbs. Everything was amazing and the service was above and beyond. They really want their customers to have a great food experience. Definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner.“
“The food here was delicious. I ordered the Volcano and it wasn't too spicy and had great taste. Their curly fries were very good. The gentleman at the front counter very kindly gave me recommendations and was extremely patient and checked to make sure I liked my meal. Tables were a little dirty but they were pretty busy when I went in. Looking forward to trying the loaded fries I took to go!“
“This place was super yummy! We got a couple things and everything was good. Especially the spicy soy garlic wings. Those were phenomenal. The crisp, the crunch and the flavor was spot on. We enjoyed everything but the wings knocked it out the park. The sando sandwhich was good too!“
“Все было на высшем уровне , еда вкусная и порций большие ,так держать , 10 из 10 ??Parking: Мест для парковки достаточно много , это очень удобно для всех посетителей этого заведения“
“My vegetarian/ vegan family and I tried Pizza Twist for the first time this evening and definitely found our new favorite pizza spot! My daughter and I split the vegan cheese bread and it was the best cheese bread(vegan or not) that I’ve ever had! She also absolutely loved it and is quite the critic when it comes to vegan cheese. My son tried the traditional cheese pizza and also loved it. My partner and I also got the vegan BBQ “chicken” pizza to try and were VERY impressed with the taste and the quality! I truly love all the delicious plant based options. The woman at the counter also double and triple checked our orders at pick up to make sure everything was perfect which we truly appreciated. We look forward to returning again very soon!!:)Vegetarian options: Both vegetarian and vegan options. Both are very clearly labeled. Lots of customizations available as well.Dietary restrictions: Perfect for vegans and vegetarians- tons of selection.Parking: Free parking lot parking with lots of parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options. If your kiddo has a dairy allergy both the crust and the non dairy cheese are great!“
“This was our first time dining in at this establishment. The food was flavorful and quite authentic!I used to try JK back in Devon 1998 until it was closed. However, I still remembered the taste of Chili Chicken which was very delicious and one of the most popular item on the menu.Despite 1hr drive from Chicago, it was worth it after trying all unique dishes including the behari kabob, frontier rice, and freshly made chaapti (served hot and fresh). The hospitality was great and no further complaint about dining in here.“
“I ordered through Grubhub for delivery with no issues. I ordered the Mix Shawarma Plate, Falafel, and an extra pita. Overall everything had great flavor and texture. Nothing was dry or rubbery or hard. Sauces were also on point except I did not see a tzatziki option and that is my favorite. I am glad I found this place and will be back.“
“Nice little Turkish restaurant tucked away in the far corner of the lot, next to the Goodyear tire store. It is easy to miss this place because of the small storefront sign and the fact that the view is blocked by a giant building. The interior is plain. No music or central heating. Just portable room heaters and food pictures on the wall. Plenty of seating available. I think I only saw one person running the restaurant. He is very nice and welcoming.I ordered the chicken kabobs lunch special ($10), which came with rice, two pitas, a side of salad, hummus, garlic sauce, and hot sauce. Water costs an extra fee. Food came freshly cooked and steaming hot to my table.Chicken breast is well seasoned. It was almost borderline dry but the char adds some nice flavor. Best eaten with the rice, since the seasoning itself can be overpowering. Rice is plain but cooked al dente. The side salad is fresh and dressed lightly with olive oil and herbs. No strong flavors noted. Light and refreshing.Hummus is very good. It comes with olive oil and an olive. The flavor can be described as creamy, smoky, and a slight bit of tang. A very good palate cleanser.Pitas are warm, soft, and chewy. Exactly what you want to stuff your food in.The included sauces are a delight. Both are tangy and dip worthy. The hot sauce is mildly hot, full of flavor and complements the dish well. I wish I could bring a bottle of each of these sauces home, because they are that good. Same with the hummus.Overall, I do recommend this place, and left feeling satisfied. For the price, I do wish there was more salad and hummus. Takeout might be the way to go until it gets warmer outside.Parking: Might need to park a little further away if the Goodyear tire store is busy fixing cars.“
“Really enjoyed having brunch here. Customer service and hospitality were great. The food tasted really good especially the chicken Tikka paratha roll. It's a good luncheon place to grab a tasty quick bite alone or with family.Dietary restrictions: Halal food“
“We catered for a birthday with 20+ guests last weekend. We met with Holly prior to ordering to discuss the size of the trays, amount of food needed, and both VG and GF options. She was very friendly and helpful. Our order was ready, warm, and complete when we picked it up. The amount of food was perfect and everyone in attendance thought all of the food was delicious and included great variety. Would do this again! Highly recommend Cedar Grill.Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, babaganoush, saladsDietary restrictions: Gluten free. Staff did inform us that the rice is not GF.“
“Ordered two servings of biriyani from Bawarchi Naperville and it was a feast to remember. Mild spicy "Mutton Dum Biryani" and medium spicy weekend special "RajaMundry Chicken Fry Biryani". Each bite of RajaMundry chicken fry is a burst of exquisite flavors, with the right balance of spices and textures. Definitely a must-try for any biriyani enthusiast!Few other recommended menu from past orders, chicken pulav and Gobi pepper fry. This restaurant is sure to impress with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality!“
“Khurram and Adil are the kindest owners. They both go above and beyond to give exceptional service and experience at the restaurant. So many yummy things on the menu. My favorite is the Tikka Tikka pizza, spicy, and well done. Lunch/dinner here is a must!!“
“Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“
“Best halal Mexican tacos ever! We only ever get the birria and beef but I’ve had friends order the chicken and they love it!I will say the service isn’t the amazing, but it’s a small hole in the wall place and the food is exceptional so have always been able to overlook that.“
“i've honestly only got a chance to order from here a few times when i would visit my uncle & if im not mistaken they officially opened right before COVID but credit to them that they were able to carry their momentum all the way through the pandemic! it's just funny for me to say though that PLEASE DON'T CONSIDER OPENING ANOTHER LOCATION IN LOMBARD—we already have too many halal burger places!!—but yeah—keep it up—you guys are serving the local community who can only eat halal“
“We catered the food for our event and it was very pleasant experience. Everything was ready on time, food was really tasty, everyone loves it and bread was nicely cooked stayed fresh and warm when we start eating. We bought nihari, chicken karahi, chicken biryani and gajar ka halwa all 10/10.“
“Anmol is my goto when I decide to take friends out to dinner. I trust always that the food quality and taste are going to be superior and they have never disappointed!! I dont know how they manage to maintain the quality and flavor of the food the same all the time! The servers as well as management are always courteous and helpful! They even helped suggest menu items for a feiend who had gluten allergies. Trust this place for any of your dinner invitations and it will be the best choice you’ll make!!“
“Easily the best chicken I've ever had. I order here quite often and the staff us absolutely wonderful! Combined with the delicious chicken and I easily recommend this to just about anyone I talk to. My coworkers absolutely love the place as well!“
“I was curious about trying out halal burgers, which led to a pleasant experience here at Centro. However, I’m afraid that only because of my curiosity to try out Middle Eastern halal-grade food was I able to find this restaurant on the map, by specifically searching for ‘halal burger restaurants.’ I hope something could be done to better put the restaurant out there in the spotlight when looking at burger joint options, because it definitely deserves more recognition.“
“Ok, so I've never had anything like this before. The food was really good!! Took about 30 min to make. So I know it's all fresh!! Very nice staff!! At first I was questioning the price but wow it's a lot of food lol. The only thing I'm gonna do the next time is ask for extra sauce. That stuff was awesome!! Remember everyone, this is a food establishment that cooks everything. I'd rather know I'm waiting for awhile to get great food then to get food that may get microwaved and givin to me in 10 min. I'll be back soon!!“
“ZAK'S WINGS ARE THE BEST!!! I have made it an annual tradition to have Zak's wings and cheesy garlic bread WITH EXTRA GARLIC for my birthday. The hot wings and garlic are perfect!!!The menu is 100% halal-certified. They have a wide menu of items including typical Midwest American fare as well as Middle East cuisine.I found Zak's several years ago when I worked just a few blocks north of Zak's on Main Street in Lombard. I am glad that I did. Zak and his family are very friendly. They always welcome special requests.Parking: The parking lot is shared with the barber shop next door. Parking is limited during the day on Saturdays but fine otherwise.Kid-friendliness: All ages are welcome. Tables can be arranged for various family gatherings and groupings.“
“We arrived late evening after a long drive from St. Louis and were made to feel very welcome! We have visited a few local restaurants at home and the difference in level of service is like night and day…our local restaurants have a LOT to learn about customer service. The food here is phenomenal…and the best naan bread, ever. We waited no time at all for our food to arrive and it was actually hot (steaming not spicy!). We brought a lot back with us as the portions are very large! I would definitely recommend this place if you love Indian food.“
“Biryani Pot in Naperville has been an absolute game-changer for my taste buds! Their biryani? Out of this world and easily the best in the Chicago area. It’s like they’ve cracked the code to provide Hyderabadi flavors in US. All dishes I have tried recommended by Mateen bhai were amazing every single time. I’ve never walked away disappointed and can’t recommend them enough. Biryani Pot is our go-to spot every time we are in Chicago. Trust me, you’ve got to try it!“
“this hit the spot! It's been a while since I've had authentic halwa puri breakfast (I live out of state). It definitely brought back the nostalgic feeling of breakfast in Karach, and I'm still not over it.Atmosphere could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness, otherwise 10/10 for food!“
“I enjoyed the food very much but felt the overall portions were small for the price. My wife and I ordered 3 entrees, beef samosas and two different Naans for about $70. There was plenty of sauce but not a lot of substance under the sauces. Aside from that, the quality and flavor of everything was good.“
“For those that have been around the Lombard area a while know that the best gyros cheeseburger used to be found at this hole in the wall restaurant called East and West. Last night I ordered a spicy gyros cheeseburger with extra cheese and Alhamdulilah it was the best burger I've had in over a decade. They were generous with the gyros, the patty was fresh, and the sauce was delicious.“
“We've visited Pa Lian many times, and each visit has been consistently delightful. The restaurant offers an extensive selection of authentic Burmese delicacies crafted with the freshest ingredients and bursting with delightful flavors. Our favorites include the flavorful Mohinga, refreshing Tea Leaf Salad, and satisfying Nan Gyi Thoke. What truly sets Pa Lian apart is the impeccable service provided by owner. He is not only incredibly attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu. Additionally, we've been pleasantly surprised by the owner's occasional off-menu treats, which have always been outstanding.“
