“Every time I’ve been in the guy who is there is the same and I forget to ask his name but he’s not only very friendly but knowledgeable and ready to make suggestions every time. It’s as if he knows how intimidating making all the decisions to get a sub made. He suggests things such as my bread choice for the turkey sub I ordered and he said he loves the rosemary with it and he was right! It was delicious. “Great lunch spot in downtown Wheaton for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a very good and generous sized. I really like the grinders and panini when I want a hot sandwich. Great service & staff! There is outdoor seating so we can bring our dog when the weather is nice. It can get crowded on weekends around lunchtime, especially in the warmer months.

Parking: Plenty of street parking is available if you can find a spot. During busy times in Wheaton, I recommend the free parking garage, it is centrally located and only minutes walk to any of the attractions. It is maybe a 2 minute walk to the deli.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love eating here! Lots of families visit Shane's because of the very kid friendly menu.“

“I really like toasted subs, so the food is really good in my opinion. The speed is variable, even when there are not too many people in the store. I recommend ordering ahead on the app and picking up your food to make it faster. The staff are really nice though.“

“Came to the sneak peek today. Only been to a McAlister's one time in Indiana years ago and thought it was okay. The food here was so delicious and the best lunch we've had in a long time. Customer service was impeccable - corrected a wrong order no problem. Will definitely come back and try more items on the menu. There was nothing that was average!
