“Here for brunch @ noon. Seated promptly, everyone was kind, the table was set and clean. The 360 fireplace is a nice touch, just watch the step up/down in that area. Service was quick, order accurate and a small pot of coffee was left at the table.“
“I recently visited Plenty of Huevos restaurants for breakfast , and I couldn't be happier with the service . Ruth was excellent, her service was also amazing – The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend plenty of Huevos for breakfast and lunch…“
“Everything we've tried here is amazing, especially their wildberry Reuben (season special), skillets, French toast and our kids love the triple berry bliss mascapone pancakes with sausage links! The espresso smoothies are a must try too!Service is always top notch, usually very busy and crowded but worth the wait!Meals are a bit pricey but worth every penny!Parking: There's a decent sized parking lot but fills up quickly depending on how busy they are. However there's additional parking within the stripKid-friendliness: Booster seats and high chairsPlenty of options for kids meals that they will devour!“
“So sorry the pic tells it all.. the food was amazing ? nothing left and forgot to take a pic because when the food came out we didn’t stop eating lol ? the coffee and service was on point. Our waiter Julian paid attention to us and our creamer “
“Sandy’s in one of our GO TO local favorites for breakfast! The staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious! It’s not a huge place so seating can be limited but it’s worth the wait or sitting at the counter! Their coffee mugs even say, “it’s all good.”10/10 for usParking: You can park on both sides on the street, there’s a parking lot next door, and a big lot across the street.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. High chairs and booster seats available.“
“The service was fantastic at this cute place. The atmosphere and menu were wonderful. The food was pricey and ok. I ordered an extra egg which didn't come and was charged 3 dollars. One child's food came and the other came 8 minutes later.... doesn't seemlike a lot but it's a lot when you are with hungry kids. I am not sure if this would be my first choice for brunchI will go back for a drink though“
“I moved from Niles to the south side of Chicago about 8 years ago and it's comforting knowing the food here has not changed! Still as delicious as I remember and owner has kept the prices fair where other restaurants are price gouging. Love this gem of a place. It's hard to find good food with quality ❤️?“
“Wow Food! Wow Service by Liliana! Wow Atmosphere! We were in a rush to get to the DMV after a quick breakfast, and Egg Harbor delivered with the excellent service by Liliana! We were in and out (on a Tues. morning) within 35 minutes. Everything tasted great, coffee to go and take home containers were thought of in advance! However, we ate everything and didn't need the containers after all. Super clean restaurant with super employees! Thank you!“
“Nice atmosphere, excellent service, and good prices/value. Not a ton of savory vegetarian options. Most meat free stuff are the super sugary items. Also, the coffee situation is in desperate need of an upgrade. Tasted like nothing, it was just hot brown water.“
“Wow, first time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Great food, great service! Will definitely be going back. Enjoyed my poached eggs, hash browns, off the bone hame & French toast! If you haven’t been to “Golden Bruch” yet, what are you waiting for? Go!“
“Very warm atmosphere and a clean establishment. Food is exactly what you want and hits the spot. Staff pays attention and is great, hopefully you get Liz. Greek Skillet was delicious! Forgot to take the photo before. Sorry.Parking: There’s a parking lot“
“It's Egg Harbor! Quality across locations is notoriously consistent. Good and interesting food selection, with stellar staples and a rotating menu of specials, plus periodic changes to their main menu.I have enjoyed Egg Harbor in other locations for decades and I have no complaints about this one. Staff is persistent cheery and imminently friendly. Food and ingredient quality is consistent and always on par with other quality brunch joints. You won't necessarily find the most experimental items in the world here, but they do push out some interesting specials.Prices aren't cheap, but always on per with restaurants of similar quality and actually have not increased as massively as others with inflation. They treat their staff notoriously well and I have personally seen a guy I like go from a busboy with low English competency to a floor manager. Gotta love that.Dietary restrictions: The staff is ready and quite willing to adjust menu items to accommodate any dietary restrictions they can. They aren't heavily focused on this and probably can't, for instance, guarantee they've eradicated all traces of gluten from most meals, but they are glad to do what they can with no stress.Parking: The parking lot is a bit of a pain to navigate due to its design, but you can park both in the front and back and you'll never find yourself lacking.Kid-friendliness: Egg Harbor is Notoriously kid friendly. I can't speak for kids who behave catastrophically poorly, but I went to another location for most of my childhood and they were both kind and accommodating.“
“Sunday morning midday, I thought that there would be a wait for a table, but they were able to put us at a table by the kitchen/bathrooms. I've dined at Egg Harbors throughout the years and the menu seems pretty consistent although they did have a lot of new coffee drinks. My Bacado (bacon-avocado) omelette was fine, with a generous portion of avocados. This came with an English muffin and diced potatoes. My companion ordered the avocado toast and they said their over medium eggs were cold. Otherwise a fine breakfast. Our server made sure our drinks were filled and even offered to provide Togo containers for them. Easy to pay with QR code on receipt.“
“Been meaning to stop in and finally had a craving for a good burrito. I was not disappointed! Great fillings in a lightly grilled tortilla, accomplished by delicious sauces to add some zing. It's served cut so you can enjoy it as a sandwich. And I saved room for a generous serving of flan that was amazing. It was firm and delicately textured rather than the overly smooth custard that I've experienced elsewhere and had a wonderful flavor that I really enjoyed.Do yourself a favor and try a visit. I'm going back, and I bet you will too“
“A Chicago suburb hidden gem!! This place has a wide variety of tasty breakfast options that will make you wanting to try more. If you go and check out this breakfast place you have to get the Honey Biscuits to start out. The service was friendly and quick to get your food on the table. The place itself is a warm and welcoming little breakfast spot.“
“Breakfast at 11:00! Yes! Love a Sunday late breakfast! This is the place to go for breakfast! I haven't tried their lunches yet. My breakfast was a veggies skillet. The potatoes were the best I've ever had, nicely seasoned and crispy. Veggies included were spinach, “
“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“
“Met a friend for breakfast & conversation. Comfortable, sunny dining room and friendly service. All the usual egg dishes, with some fun twists, and a dandy assortment of avocado toast options. Very conversation-friendly!Parking: Parking lot surrounds Egg Harbor and their immediate neighbors, plus street parking in the same block is also OK.“
“From the service to the food, top tier! Not only is the surrounding area cute, but the inside of the restaurant is too! Sunday morning, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and sweet. The food was wonderful and packed with flavor. It came freshly made and quick. The server checked in at the appropriate intervals and even brought napkins half way through without us asking. We enjoyed ourselves and our food. Also, the London Fog was by far the best I’ve ever had.“
“I've been eating here for years. It's always been a quality reliable go to. I'm not sure why it didn't dawn on me until now to review it! So here is my review while enjoying another relaxing lunch here. The food is always good. They are very good at accommodating allergies. The service is also excellent every time. We get Silvina as our server almost every time and she is delightful. The seating is comfortable, music is at the proper level for conversation, and they keep the place very clean. We will continue to be customers for years to come.“
“Finally tried out Southern Kitchen! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! From the perfect sized kids menu options, to the delicious biscuits and gravy, perfectly made hash browns, decadent cinnamon and sugar donuts, fruit smoothies and refreshing iced espresso- not one detail was missed! Check them out!!!!“
“me and 3 friends went to brunch to celebrate a birthday and immediately as we were sat Fabian recognized my friend from his job and complimented his customer service skills. He was so happy to take care of us and gave us excellent recommendations (which we took him up on) and by the end we were hugging him and promising to come back and request him (and he told us the other restaurant he serves at so we can see him for dinner too). Food was excellent drinks were strong ? and truly Fabian is the best server ever. TIP THAT MAN 30% HE DESERVES IT!!!!“
“Oh, that was a nice experience with my daughter. Super friendly stuff, fast service, great selection of drinks. The only BUT ... not so fresh salad served with my omelet (frittata). Trust me, on the top look great, but as soon as you took first leaves out, the old come to your view. So.... with this being said, skipp "fresh" greens.“
“My friend and I go for brunch alot and have been to most places on the north shore. This is one of the best. The service is great and the food is very good. It's always quick and everything is tasty. The eggs are made perfect with fresh veggies and tasty cheese. They are one of the few restaurants that offer grits!! Theancakes are the best I've had on the north shore. I would definitely recommend it.“
“Just like grandma used to cook!! Place was packed on arrival, waited 5 minutes. Sat near the kitchen so I was able to see everything being served. O man, I wanted everything!!! 2 people ordered enough for 3.5 people. The build your own sandwich did not even have a chance! That was inhaled in 30 seconds (croissant, egg, cheese, sausage patty). The country fried steak came either chicken or beef, went with beef, yum!! Skillet, I look down then looked up, gone! Wait staff was super friendly, from the gentleman that sat us to the waitress that waited on us, all awesome!! Will be re-visiting!!“
“Exceptional from start to finish! Got there at around 11:30 on a Sunday, and it was packed! Got seated quickly at the counter, and our server was lovely (attentive, but not hovering). I got the Popeye omelet with fruit and French toast. The omelet was huge, hot, and delicious. Asked for a side of hollandaise, and it arrived in about 2 minutes. My guy got the country fried steak, eggs, and potatoes (the gravy was fantastic!). Prices were more than reasonable and the portions were huge! We will be back, and i would absolutely recommend this place!“
“Give my girl Victoria a raise, employee of the month, or some sort of recognition. I am 8 months pregnant and she accommodated me while being the only waitress on the floor. I didn’t wait long for my food or drinks even though she was taking care of online pickup orders and customers inside the restaurant (about 30) She is a phenomenal waitress. She is kind. She is what many restaurants look for and jelly cafe is lucky enough to have her. Also, the Spanish omelette was great!“
“I have heard a lot of good things about this place but my steak and eggs breakfast was not good. Meat was very seasoned , way too much to the point where it was not tasty. I left half of it. I'll be back to try other dishes just because many people have said good things about this place and they can't be that wrong, can they? The staff was friendly .“
“Honey Jam is my favorite brunch spot in the area. I love the Buffalo chicken wrap, while my wife enjoys their veggie skillet. Food is always consistently fresh and hot. The coffee options are also commendable. Have never had a bad service experience here- the waiting staff are attentive and always friendly.“
“I love this place so much and haven't been in since they remodeled. It's so bright and looks great! Our server was so attentive and good with the kids, and refills napkins, etc. I tried something new I'd not had there before and it was delicious! I'd highly suggest the crispy chicken wrap with Chipotle ranch! The fries could've been a little crispier, but for being fresh cut fries, they were good. I should have gone in there sooner since the remodel!!“
“Lots of delicious foods. My favorites are omelets, pancakes, and hash browns. Strawberry and blueberry sauces for pancakes are divine and simply delicious. One of my favorite breakfast spots. Atmosphere was a little boring. Staff was very nice and frequently checked in on us.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and large vegetarian selectionDietary restrictions: Staff is accommodating and allows alterations to foods based on dietary restrictionsParking: Plenty of parking spaces as it is in a large shopping complexKid-friendliness: Specific kids menu and coloring book. High chairs for little children“
“This is one of my favorite places, it is excellent in service and food, breakfast in everything, and very good prices, the place is not very big but it is wonderful and very fast in making the food, its delicious green sauce and the attention of the people Wonderful, thank you, it is very pleasant to visit this place.♥️♥️♥️Kid-friendliness: Excellent place to attend as a family ♥️“
“Visited on a weekday, so business was slow. Food was good, as usual. (Hence, 4 stars!) I had a frittata, and my husband had the crepes with cherries. Server could have been more attentive to her one table, us. This place has been here for a long time, and we have visited it often. It looks tired now. Needs some "sprucing up." The ladies washroom is yucky. There's mold or something all over the ceiling tiles. Not sure we'll be back in the near future.Wheelchair accessibility: There's handicapped parking.“
“We were looking for breakfast while on the Highway. This place was 10 minutes out of our way, but well worth it! This was the best French Toast and the staff worked together like a well oiled machine. They were all so friendly and efficient.“
“We stopped late on a weeknight after visiting family in the hospital. The server was great. Keeping my iced tea full will always earn you a good tip.Prices aren't bad. She liked her breakfast burrito and my buttermilk biscuit combo was pretty good.Even though there weren't many people it was noisy. A group of young women went to the ladies room and it sounded like they were holding the door open. I could hear everything they said in there from across the room.I would give this chain three stars, but the server bumped the score up a notch.“
