“I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“Love Prasino. They are so sweet. And I meet my cousins there a couple of times a year there because of the location. I go more frequently because I live close. But they always give us the table in the back. We stay a long time. And we are all treated well and they still serve breakfast itmems at lunch, so everyone is happy!“

“On August 16, 2024 my dear friend Eberta Wright celebrated her 103 birthday. We celebrated it at The Lazy Dog Restaurant in the Highlands were we used to go for lunch every Sunday after church. Our waiter was always Carlos. One Sunday he told me to let him know when she was to celebrate her next birthday because he wanted to do something special for her. I called him and told him it was here so he talked to his manager and WOW!!!!! Kyla, Alexa, Andrea and Carlos put together a spectacular birthday celebration. Mrs. Wright and I both were so surprised and delighted with what they did. The decorations, the gorgeous flowers the cupcakes that Kyla made and decorated to spell out her birth year. Everything was just wonderful. Carlos came in on his day off and got to have lunch with us. He is a very special young man. In fact everyone there is very special. The Lazy Dog will always be my number one restaurant not just because of the good food but because they are a group of very special people.“

Im writing this review specifically to speak on how great the service was. I believe our waiters name was Nick M (at least according to the receipt) and he was fantastic - especially for us being a big-ish group coming in a bit late in the night. Nick was attentive, courteous, funny, and kind. He checked up on us and didn't forget a single item for anyone or make a single mistake! “Who ever thought I would buy pies for the crust? Their crusts are so buttery and flaky. Yum! But then, there is all the wonderful flavor you fill them with as well... Absolutely amazing! Better than homemade and so, so much better than store-bought or big chain bakeries. It has been fun trying the seasonal varieties, and I have yet to find one of their pies I don't like.“

“Went there this past weekend. Food, ambiance and staff were excellent. The beer was really good. My only complaint was the cost of a mixed drink. $15.00 for a 4 ounce vodka drink is a little steep. I could buy a whole bottle of vodka for that much. Otherwise, great place for dinner or a good beer.“
