“The place was a ghost town. I was the only one there. The only thing that changed about the peanut buster parfait was the price ( over $5.00 now ). The worker that was there was very pleasant. It does not have to be blistering hot outside to enjoy good ice cream.“

“Mastic Gelato is honestly one of the best dessert spots I’ve tried. They sell amazing ice cream and bake their own cakes, and everything tastes super fresh and high quality. I tried the caramel cake with vanilla foam on top and it was amazing. The tiramisu cake was just as good. The owner and staff are all really sweet and welcoming. “I enjoy getting an original rainbow cone and I'm thankful there are more locations to enjoy them. We accidentally discovered they have a junior size cone which provides just as much flavor and the (required) obligatory drip(s) on my shirt and pants despite my efforts otherwise. They currently offer the Jr size for a buck off on Tuesday making the trip less costly.
I'd suggest a trip to the original Rainbow Cone at 92nd and Western for the true experience. Walk in, stand in line and sit at the tables out back. The original location is on my personal list of Chicago favorites. Thankfully they no longer close in the off-season...“
