“Haydens is a great place to eat! they are the best restaurant in town. The food is wonderful and their soups are out of this world. I only wish they would get this website up to date and working properly. I try to check it every day and am often disappointed with it not being updated.“

“It's a nice hometown bar. Love their bloody Mary's and the food is great. Especially, the burgers.
Parking: Located on South Broadway in Coal City.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and safe.“

“Passing through town and I stopped by on a whim. Boy did I nail it! They were very welcoming. Seems like the perfect hangout for this small town. The bartender (Felicia) was awesome with a great sense of humor. If I lived in the area it would be my go to.Great local bar with top notch service!“
“This is a standard biker destination. Great place to pull over and relax with a cold drink. Very friendly staff, great view of the river and all the passing river traffic from the outdoor deck. I come here wherever I'm out that way.“
“Bartender Kerri is the best shes got a great personality very friendly. She should be the full time bartender there, she comes up with the best drinks. Known her for a long time she love what she does always has a smile on her face. She said she’s only there on Sunday’s? Why I’d like to come to this bar more and she needs more days or evenings. “Been at Big Basin for about 9 years now, love it there. It's the closest to home and the lowest price of the three marina's on this section of the river. I just need a launch ramp and a dock, but have really enjoyed Big Basin. Parking lot gets a tad crowded on the weekends (of course).“
