“We came in last night for the first time since the disappointment we experienced there last year, and WOW!!! I wish I could make this a post all its own - the food was fabulous, the wait staff were great...we were blown away. We are so excited that YOU ARE BACK!!! Best it's been since Kelly et al were here. I can see us coming in regularly and will be sharing with the neighborhood and all our local friends. The patio was wonderful, and even the music over the speakers was great! Yayyyy!!! You've hit a homerun!“

“Celebrated two birthdays at lunch. Atwater's is in a quaint setting surrounded by water and beautiful plantings. The food was excellent (entrees included prime rib sandwich and chicken crepes). The starter for the three of us was an outstanding cream of asparagus soup finished with balsamic and blue cheese crumbles. Desserts were excellent (creme brulee and a lemon cheesecake). The waiter couldn't have been nicer -- he was also very attentive. The lunch was as good as any dinner that we have had at a five star restaurant. This was a great all-around dining experience!!“

“We entered the restaurant around 5pm and the tables were empty except for a couple people at the bar. We were asked if we would be done eating before 7 because they had reservations pending. The bartender made an excellent drink for us. The farm to table concept was the lure to come in but the food was okay. I tried to ask for salt and pepper but my server didn't return. We asked for hot pepper sauce but it never made it to the table. It wouldn't be my first for dinner but drinks definitely.“

“Cute restaurant with unique and traditional food options along with a great location. My “BLT” could’ve used some more flavor with a different or more sauce, but overall I enjoyed it and the rest of the food (lumpia, french toast). Price was a little steep, especially for brunch menu, but not crazy expensive. Very friendly and inviting staff.“

“If you don’t know yet, Lombard has got it going on! And GL105 is an outstanding example of this quaint suburb. Expect high quality and comfortable casual dining; perfect place to meet up with friends.
The bartender knows how to mix and they have great taste in wines. Their creative menu will please a variety of tastes with tender smoked meats, tasty Asian dishes and other savory feasts. We hit up the short rib stroganoff, chicken fried rice bowl and pressed short ribs. Every bite was delicious (maybe the mashed potatoes weren’t quite at the same level.)
Hosts were a little stiff but the rest of the staff was very committed to making sure we had a great time and we did!“

“We were very disappointed with our "Student Run" dinner at Waterleaf. In the past the students who prepared the meals presented and explained their course while it was being served. There was no mention or description of any course at all. The wine pairings were read from a script. The chef instructor came out to thank the diners but did not once mention any of the students who cooked, served and poured wine. Waterleaf is not Student Run anymore, it is Instructor Run.“

“I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. Highly recommended!“

“Stopped in for our anniversary. Atmosphere and staff were great. What I expected. Started with the crab cake, leak soup wedge salad, and Brussel sprouts . The crab cake was the best we’ve had. Soup was good. Wedge salad was just a typical wedge salads. Nothing special. Brussels were excellent.
Entres. Wife had the lobster roll and I had the seafood risotto. Lobster roll had great flavor, but lacked lobster. Lots of roll and little lobster. The seafood risotto consisted of two scallops, 3 large shrimp, and a lobster tail. Scallops were top notch, shrimp was a little bland, and lobster tail was way over cooked. It was actually difficult to cut.
Sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
Overall, mixed reviews on the food. We will be back for apps and drinks.“

“Our server, Dee(?), was amazing! Great recommendations and she anticipated all of our needs. The food was top notch, as well. Started with the flaming cheese fondue served with fresh focaccia bread. Yum! I had the Surf and Turf and my husband had the Grouper. Both were perfectly prepared and the sides were delicious. Cocktails were fantastic and their Bourbon choices were great for an after dinner pour. We finished with their blueberry cheesecake and devoured every crumb! It was our Anniversary and they even poured us a toast! We will be back!“

“Stopped here for breakfast with my husband. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress came right over and provided friendly and attentive service from the start. Menu options are vast, but not overwhelming. Portion sizes are huge! My husband and I both ordered The Market Skillet. He got Honey Bun pancakes and I got Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll pancakes. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommended stopping in if you're in the area and want good food at a great value.“
“Went in for a family event. Venue very appropriate and expansive for various celebrations going on. Personel was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Food was delicious and appropriate for event. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. 😍“

Thank you Rose for a fantastic experience dining in the restaurant. It was a pleasure to meet you and learning about Naperville. Your hospitality was amazing!! Really appreciate your service and glad I met you! Can’t wait to visit again!! Breakfast was awesome and the granola is delicious“
“There are two dining areas in the CHC. Both of the previous reviews concern the Waterleaf--a more formal dining area. This review is about the quick-serve facility--Wheat Cafe. Like the Waterleaf this is a student-run/chef supervised operation. Cheap eats! Beautiful food! During my visit, I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Jalapeno-spiked Slaw and skinny skinny crispy crispy french fries. Wow! $5! One of my friends had the Texas Breakfast Wrap--$3. Another good value, but not as well presented as my sandwich. Another friend had the caramel chocolate tart--it was all I could do to not push her aside and eat it all by myself. Only $3! You order at a counter where you receive your beverage and then go into a small dining room, which was clean and bright. Since food is being cooked to order there is a small, but easy, wait. The wait person was a little over-zealous about plate pick-up, but it was opening day and we were one of the first customers. Limited days (Tues and Wed), Limited hours (10:30 am-1:00 pm) Check the website for menu details.“

“I ordered the Fungi burger, and it was easily the best burger I've had in Illinois. Our server, Paige, was amazing, and the food was insanely quick, only took 5 minutes for the burger and fries that came with it. The patty was incredible, not at all dry. The atnosphere is great, awesome decorations, and they have an outdoor seating area.“
