“Tuesday night special was free chicken chunks with $4 of food, and they were perfection. I'm generally not a nugget fan, but these impressed me. Not over breaded and cooked to the outer crisp/ inner tender that made chewing a pleasure. The other specials were $5 steak tacos (also very good), and $12
chimichanga. My son got one of those and it looked great. Their side salads are always good. I particularly appreciate the finely chopped tomato bits. The waitress forgot us for an extended bit, so not perfect service, but she was pleasant and was attentive going forward when she realized we hadn't gotten our food.“

“I stopped by Applebee's for a cocktail. I tried their featured holiday drink. I was fun, festive, and had a decent amount of alcohol. The price was reasonable.
I recommend these drinks. Please drink responsibly.
The booth I was sitting in was worn out and uncomfortable. The carpets could use a good shampoo. The waiter was friendly and efficient.
I have dined here in the past and the food was tasty.
The restaurant is child friendly, wheelchair accessible and has plenty of free parking.

“I hosted a last minute, 60+ person going away party for my kid's soccer coach and the staff and Barrel & Bru were outstanding to work with. They were not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make sure our large party was comfortable, well fed and always had a drink. The food was amazing (crinkle fries forever!!!!) and the service and hospitality was even better. We had a lot of kids with us and they were so patient and nice. AND they even made a custom (alcoholic and NA) slushy drink in honor of our coach. Truly cannot say enough amazing things about this great local business! We will be coming back often!“

“Just drove from St.Charles MO with my husband and daughter today to get out of the house. Saw reviews for Bluff City Grill, and we decided to stop for lunch. The crab stew was amazingly delicious 😋 I had the stinger salad, and the hand breaded chicken strips on the salad were delicious too. We had buffalo chicken dip, and mozzarella sticks for appetizers-- both super delicious too. I had a glass of the house sangria which was super good too. Excellent service also. Definitely going back next time we're out this way. Highly recommend this restaurant for it's food, service, and atmosphere.“

“I've only been a few times but seems to be a fun and inclusive place to meet some interesting characters and play pool.
Oh and I'm sure other reviews have mentioned it but THE WINGS. Do not sleep on the wings their buffalo sauce is chefs kiss 😘
Edit: all the bartenders I have met have treated me with respect despite my weirdness, my kind of place“

“had a quick dinner with my friend tonight, paid, and left. as soon as we were about to drive away, our sweet waitress with a pretty strong southern accent came running towards our car to give me back my card that i forgot at the table. she was so sweet!!!!“

“Was at Edwardsville location on 3/5 for lunch. Don’t know the server’s name but she was terrific. Very genuinely friendly, not the fake kind a lot of servers portray. Food was fantastic and will make you want to return. The only complaint was the music, wasn’t the preferred old rock that was playing when first arrived.“

“The food was great but now it's okay..The first time I went there, my cousin and I had an awesome time, and the food was on point.Now they have a different cook there and not many Selection to make when it comes to food. All he has are chicken and fries? Most of the time, he never had fish. It's sometimes shrimp.“

“Stumbled upon this going to Walmart in Wood River and we really were shocked to find $4 appetizers. It was cool to taste a couple flavors of wings and the price was right. The waitress was gossiping when we needed assistance which was a little off-putting but we'll be back.“
