“I like crumbl. However, as someone who competed in the Scripps national spelling bee, I just can't ignore the fact that crumble is spelled wrong. I mean, who really knows why they just left of the E. Like is it supposed to be CRUMB L like do I want my cookies to be in Crumbs and then take the L. Im just confused. I would really appreciate some feedback.“

The best thing is that they do have a lot of savoury options as well.

We tried their Almond Croissant which was okayish, Feta Spinach Quiche was really good and loved their Mango Cream Bun.

The Coffee was good as well.

The place is clean and the service is very warm.

“We’ve utilized Black Cat Bakery for birthday cakes in the past, and each time they are absolutely stunning as well as delicious; but we were even more blown away by how absolutely perfect our wedding cake was this May. My husband and I were treated so well for our cake tasting in the months prior to the wedding, and the flavor combinations are as always, incredible. I trusted Madison to design a cake that matched our theme after choosing our flavors (this is HER art!), and she completely nailed it! It actually made me tear up how perfect it was. Our guests had nothing but compliments on both the design and flavor of our cake, and I’m already looking forward to eating it again for our first anniversary even if it risks being freezer burned 😆 You can tell that the staff here really loves what they do, and they put their hearts into their desserts and creations. “Went to this Bakery for my grandsons Bday cake. He requested a strawberry cake. I had passed it so many times and I'm glad I finally stopped in. They had strawberry mousse!!! “Cute place! Decided to try since I work down the block. I had the Tarantino, no pickled onions. My high review is basically for the schiacciata bread which was AMAZING! Very fresh, crunchy on the outside tender on the inside. Overall it was a tasty sandwich however the roasted turkey breast was cubed which I found strange. I never had cubed meat on a sandwich. I would have preferred sliced turkey which I thought is what I would get on a sandwich. I would suggest the mention the meat is cubed because maybe I would not have gotten it. Could have used more meat“

I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time. “Dom here, your local Chicago guide, tried the knafeh here, it was really good also tried the sweets they were very good compared to a lot of other places, the place has a nice setup and atmosphere, in my opinion it does lack some online presence like TikTok, insta and social media, I live 2 min away from here and didn’t know this place had opened up usually these places spread on social media like crazy, would definitely try again, good place to buy some sweets if you have an event to go go, a little on the pricier side however the quality is also on the higher end, with this quality and taste this place should be packed especially on the weekends.“
