“This was my first visit to the Lemon Drop in Anderson. They were packed at 12:30 & several were waiting for a table. I sat at the counter and enjoyed the conversation of my fellow diner because he was funny. I ordered the dbl cheeseburger, french fries, and tea~ my meal was served hot, fresh, and delicious, and with a smile!
The Lemon Drop offers tasty food. My bill was just under $13.00“

“Was there yesterday. I was a little sad that the decor had changed, but it is still a homey, country feeling. I recognized one of the staff as being one of our prior waiters. Super friendly guy. Our waitress was very friendly. Our food was so good. The chicken and dumplings are perfection. BISCUITS! “Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food! And the pricing! I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.“

“Found the restaurant on the Indiana State Parks app. We stopped in after earning a state park pin at Mounds. The view is amazing and the food is even better! We recommend the Piggie Plate. It’s a hearty tenderloin on fries smothered in their award winning gravy. Come hungry the portions are man-sized.“

“if you like the Edinburgh brand of tenderloin pounded with an inch of its life with a two to one breading to pork ratio this is a five-star tenderloin. if you actually prefer to taste the pork then it's a four-star tenderloin still good and nicely seasoned. the grillef tenderloin was also handmade nicely seasoned bit on the dry side. I preferred the grilled my wife preferred the breaded. my mom got a Reuben which she enjoyed. a side of fresh fruit that was fresh not canned. fries are coated with something, flour? I don't know what. I don't like those but they were crispy“

“It was overpriced hospital food, not hot!! I ordered the Pot Roast with potatoes & carrots, it was warm with a brown gravy that was overly salty. There was no potatoes & carrots. I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!“

“Our previous experience was not the best. Our food was not the best so we kind of hesitated to come back but we had a food celebration to you so we went back. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious so yes, we would recommend and we fully fully enjoyed“

“Took my grandson 6pm on Friday night. They were very busy, which was expected. Only waited about 10 min for a table. Took our order pretty quickly as well. Food was a little slow to come out but not that bad for as busy as they were. Our food was hot and very good!! Recommend the Chicken wonton tacos for sure!“

“So uh.. went here in thanksgiving day. Full warning: Dont do it. But if you do, make sure you dress super warm because there is a super long line that was pretty far outside. But besides that, the line went pretty quick even though they were at full capacity. Food was good! Server was super sweet. Place was super busy. The dinner rolls are the best. I probably ate 10. Dont tell anyone 🤫“

“This is the second time it has happen to me. Stopped in for two 3 piece fish dinners, was giving a number at the register and two cups for drinks. We set the number on the table ,which you could see it was just cleaned. Before we could get our drinks filled the dinners were on the table, nice hot ,and professionally cooked, and ready to eat. Excellent service, clean establishment. Five stars and two thumbs up.“
