“I highly recommend getting the Perkansville Pork as an appetizer. Yes it is offered as a full dish, but once you try it you will always want it when you come back. If you get it as an appetizer you can have some and then explore the some other fantastic thing from the menu. My husband had the NY Strip. It was cooked to perfection and unbelievably delicious. I had the mushrooms with goat cheese they were so delicious I will always have to order these too. It was fun. This is our second time going. Last year for our 30th anniversary celebration and last Saturday for our 31st. Great place very casual and the cost for quality is very reasonable. PERFECTION ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍🤩“

“This was my first visit to the Lemon Drop in Anderson. They were packed at 12:30 & several were waiting for a table. I sat at the counter and enjoyed the conversation of my fellow diner because he was funny. I ordered the dbl cheeseburger, french fries, and tea~ my meal was served hot, fresh, and delicious, and with a smile!
The Lemon Drop offers tasty food. My bill was just under $13.00“

“Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food! And the pricing! I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.“

“My daughter and I just ate at Montana Mikes for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised at the service. The catfish and the ribs were awesome! I was a little disappointed in the steak. “Found the restaurant on the Indiana State Parks app. We stopped in after earning a state park pin at Mounds. The view is amazing and the food is even better! We recommend the Piggie Plate. It’s a hearty tenderloin on fries smothered in their award winning gravy. Come hungry the portions are man-sized.“

“Our dinner was delicious, we started with an Calimari appetizer that was tasty, it was spicy with a touch of sweetness, then we enjoyed our favorite wedge salad topped with real blue cheese crumbles, freshly cooked bacon bits & homemade bleucheese dressing... then for our entree we each had their filet mignon, cooked perfectly with a 1/2 of baked potato. Our server, Lindsay was excellent-she answered our questions and followed up to make sure that our requests were followed by their Chef/kitchen. Highly recommend!“

“if you like the Edinburgh brand of tenderloin pounded with an inch of its life with a two to one breading to pork ratio this is a five-star tenderloin. if you actually prefer to taste the pork then it's a four-star tenderloin still good and nicely seasoned. the grillef tenderloin was also handmade nicely seasoned bit on the dry side. I preferred the grilled my wife preferred the breaded. my mom got a Reuben which she enjoyed. a side of fresh fruit that was fresh not canned. fries are coated with something, flour? I don't know what. I don't like those but they were crispy“

“It was overpriced hospital food, not hot!! I ordered the Pot Roast with potatoes & carrots, it was warm with a brown gravy that was overly salty. There was no potatoes & carrots. I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!“

“Took my grandson 6pm on Friday night. They were very busy, which was expected. Only waited about 10 min for a table. Took our order pretty quickly as well. Food was a little slow to come out but not that bad for as busy as they were. Our food was hot and very good!! Recommend the Chicken wonton tacos for sure!“

“My mother, wife, and I had lunch Wednesday the 30th of Oct. and had a very nice time. My mother has been here three or four times and my wife and I two. The seating was very nice, the dining area was spotless, and the service was spectacular. Our waitress, Beth, was so very nice and cheerful. She gave us plenty of time to decide and asked if we might like to all share a cinnamon roll while we read through the menu. She came back with the cinnamon roll and it was so delicious! After a few minutes Beth popped back to our table and asked how we liked our roll. She then asked if we had made our choices from the menus. We had a few questions and Beth answered, gave a few suggestions and we ordered. Our food came quite quickly. I think a manager brought our food, as it seemed that there were a few other tables all being served at the same time. We all started having our lunch. Beth popped back in to be sure that our orders were all correct and that we were very pleased. We finished most of our meal and Beth asked if we would like anything else. Being that we were stuffed, we asked for a few boxes to take our left overs. She came back with boxes and a bag, asked if we would like carry out coffee or soda drinks. We declined and I asked for our check. The check was on par for many places and I felt an exceptional value for the quality and quantity of food. It was not just filling, but delicious and left me feeling happy and ready for an afternoon nap. All and all, we had a pleasant dining experience and I felt very happy that I was able to enjoy the time with my wife and mother in such a nice place. I feel that the atmosphere, taste of food, and especially our waitress Beth, made for a great day that the three of us will remember. It’s possible to create nice atmosphere, cook delicious foods, and employ a high caliber of employee, but having all three at the same time is what makes a great restaurant. The Toast has all three. But besides that, the line went pretty quick even though they were at full capacity. Food was good! Server was super sweet. Place was super busy. The dinner rolls are the best. I probably ate 10. “This is the second time it has happen to me. Stopped in for two 3 piece fish dinners, was giving a number at the register and two cups for drinks. We set the number on the table ,which you could see it was just cleaned. Before we could get our drinks filled the dinners were on the table, nice hot ,and professionally cooked, and ready to eat.
