“The Grove just recently reopened under new ownership and we stopped in to play pool and have a couple beers. We ended up having a few buckets and shots. Then the band Rocking Horse began. They sounded very good. I seen them back in the mid nineties. We danced and had a great time. We didn't eat...this time but we will go back and eat then. In the past the food was really good. We'll know next time.“

“This place was OK. The waitress was grabby within our cups to fill them and we had to complain to the owner that she grabbed are glasses out of our hands. And he defended her saying it was her 2nd day on the job working. But didn't say a word to her for her to come and apologize to us. Won't go back there.“

“Came here for a special event and wish it was closer to where I live. The vibes are wonderful with good lighting, large vinyl and VHS wall, and plenty of places to sit both in and outside. The drinks were fairly priced, but was sad they were out of rootbeer. Main issues: not enough restrooms & at least for this event they didn't have enough bartender for the size. Will probably look for other show or event to justify coming out this far north.“

“Great experience! I've never been to a place like this before. It was nice to get a drink (cheaply priced too!) and play as many games as we wanted. We each purchased 1 drink a piece and played an hour worth of arcade games! It was awesome, well worth the stop on our trip.“

“I won't lie, I've never had a place allow my dog to be treated as much of a princess as what she is here. I originally set up an appointment and party to have my dog for her temp birthday to be done here. And oh my goodness, I've never seen so many of the regulars and the bar staff treat her like a little princess as she is. The drinks are fantastic. The beers are phenomenal, but also the staff is fantastic on working around dietary limitations like gluten intolerance. I have slowly become gluten intolerant, and the staff has been fantastic about making sure that their menus are safe. For those that have these allergies. “This location holds wonderful memories (former Libertine). I expected to be disappointed but was pleasantly surprised.

The bar tender (Leo - who is likely a high level mixologist) asked for my drink preferences and then made the BEST whiskey and malort based cocktail. I typically don't love either.

I was in town as a caregiver for someone receiving medical treatment, and this quickly became my place to come and decompress. On my first visit I was made to feel at home, even though I was 1,500 miles from home. I had a quick drink (or two) and was so excited to come back. Time after time that I came back I was always treated wonderfully - everyone on the team even took care to ask how things were going medically and make sure I was okay, and even eating properly. Social to me isn’t just a bar/restaurant. It was a family experience, when I so desperately needed it“

Not usually very crowded, so you can get quick drink service.Don’t order the bruschetta... It was a soup of balsamic with a handful of tomato chunks thrown in. The non-vegetarian options looked decent, though. I definitely view this place as more of a drinking bar to chill at than a restaurant, but my menu options were pretty limited (so it might be better for meat eaters).Staff is nice and remembers the regulars. The tacos connected to Turner’s was really good. Esp with there being the pick up window in the establishment. This place seemed like a hot spot happy hour place and highly recommend coming with friends.“
