“The Grove just recently reopened under new ownership and we stopped in to play pool and have a couple beers. We ended up having a few buckets and shots. Then the band Rocking Horse began. They sounded very good. I seen them back in the mid nineties. We danced and had a great time. We didn't eat...this time but we will go back and eat then. In the past the food was really good. We'll know next time.“

“This place was OK. The waitress was grabby within our cups to fill them and we had to complain to the owner that she grabbed are glasses out of our hands. And he defended her saying it was her 2nd day on the job working. But didn't say a word to her for her to come and apologize to us. Won't go back there.“

“As has been noted often, this is one of the few places in town with authentic Mexican food. This was our first time here and we're glad we finally decided to check it out. We both got a few tacos- the chicken was a little dry but overall didn't ruin the taco by any means, and we tried the asada & lengua as well. Chips and dip were great, queso was amazing.“

“The pizza was gross. Soggy canned vegetables, ie. Shrooms. Right? Shroom daddy? Service was normal and slow. Kinda worse because they were dead on a weekend and overstaffed. Every night is a different shtick...Kaorokee, Trivia, music, oh and don't forget about the shared space, so we can cover rent... coming soon. It's a scramble folks. Everyone involved doesn't have the best track record. How many bars have failed, failed again, still suckering/ rob people, failed again, to many lawsuits, all under you. I can't wait for something new. Highly don't recommend. Fat Ds, 20 tap, Sam, Mama's! Anything close is a better option“

“Great place to pop in and have a few drinks before a game. Came in before a Pacers playoff game about 4+ hours before game time. It was mostly full, but quiet. About 2 hours later the place was packed and you could really feel the energy building. Knicks fans even came in and the folks were pretty polite to the outsiders. #MidwestNice

Beer selection was standard stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. Food wasn't bad, just not anything to write home about. The French Dip was good. My wife commented that it was much more tender than many French dips she has had at other places.“

“My kids say they High Velocity has the best ice cream ever and they rate it 5 stars! The pretzels and beer cheese were also delicious! Great snack before the Indians game!“

“Normally I have no issues and the food is always amazing but today with my carry out order I feel differently. I had the district club and when I took a bite into it I was met with a piece of wood that stuck to the roof of my mouth. It appears the wooden spear was broken into the sandwich after taking a closer look. I would just be aware of this if your sandwich comes with one.“

“The Mousetrap is that great “Cheers-type” neighborhood bar where everyone really does know your name. The crowd is friendly, the atmosphere is laid-back, and it’s the perfect place to unwind after work or catch up with friends. I’ve heard the food is really good too. “Kilroy’s Famous Stuffed Breadsticks absolutely lived up to the hype! I ordered the pepperoni and mozzarella stuffed breadsticks, and they were incredible four huge, golden brown breadsticks rolled from fresh pizza dough and filled with gooey, melted cheese and savory pepperoni. The marinara and cheese sauces on the side were the perfect finishing touch. Every bite was warm, flavorful, and comforting. A friend recommended Kilroy’s, and I’m so glad they did! I also had a delicious Caesar salad that was crisp and refreshing, plus a Crystal Blue Long Island that paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the service was fast. Everything came out hot and fresh. Kilroy’s has definitely earned a spot on my favorites list five stars all the way!“

“Always check out Hooters when I’m in Indianapolis. This place has great food and great service during the week of Gencon. It was really busy when we came in but everything was smooth and food came out quickly. Had the cheese curds which were awesome and the Buffalo chicken tacos. Which were surprisingly good. Tons of TV with lots of sports plus horse racing. Let's talk about the menu it's not large, but definitely has something for everyone. Indiana known for Pork Tenderloin Sandwich was a great size & enjoyed the seasoned fries. At the bartender's suggestion I tried the Pork Tenderloin with mashed potatoes, cream gravy, & onion strings. Fantastic! Full bar & enjoyed a really tasty margarita. Would definitely go back.“

The receipt reads, “Jacob.” However, I saw a bracelet that reads, “Jake.” The calm under pressure displayed by Jake maintained a positive atmosphere. The restaurant experienced increased foot traffic due to The Queens Concert June 1, 2025. Then the computer system shut down. In the midst of it all Jake went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was electric. It was the Sunday following the Saturday that the Indiana Pacers won the Eastern Conference Championship. If you are in the downtown Indianapolis, Indiana area this restaurant is a great choice! It is where great food and great people meet to maintain a great atmosphere.“
