“My time at michael’s uptown Café was wonderful very chill and elegant my food was so delicious and the crème brûlée to die for overall It’s an amazing restaurant to enjoy an amazing meal and chill with friends and family“

“I got 3 of their crunchy gyros, some feta fries, and a large Mediterranean dip for my family and I while we were visiting Bloomington. We don't have a lot of Greek food up where we are, save for King Gyros, so this was a great treat. Everything was incredibly flavorful, the gyro meat was thick and tasty, and the dip lasted us several days. We will be coming again, if we're ever in town!“

“Beautiful, spacious modern decor. Impressed by the esthetic from the moment of entering. Food was excellent. Got the baby beet salad. Very good, but I think the beets (fewer perhaps) should’ve been chopped into smaller pieces with more strawberries and greenery. Very filling. I had the roasted eggplant for my entree. Wonderfully seasoned, served over a bed of white rice. I would definitely get it again. My desert choice was the blueberry cheesecake. Scrumptious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back. Nice outdoor patio area as well. Thumbs up!“

“Typically I go to the Crazy Horse for lunch and get the half soup/ half sandwich combo. The 2 soups rotate and while it doesn't fill the void ledt by Darn Good Soup it is a reasonable option as the soups are pretty solid.

A few highlights besides the soup are a solid bourbon offering at the bar, the best fried mozzarella sticks in town since Opie Taylors closed. Marks Cuban their take on a Cuban sandwich is tasty, the Shrimp Po Boy (pictured) is solid and they have a good pork tenderloin sandwhich which is of course an Indiana staple.

Overall the menu is has a good offering of shareables, bar food, salads and sandwhiches its a pretty vintage old bar and since Irish Lion closed one of the few long time fixtures on the square still standing.“

“Great patio seating. Amazing spirits. The first server was very knowledgeable and kind. The second time the server seemed to try to get us in and out and unable to provide further explanation of the drinks when asked. Also they automatically add 20% gratuity even with only a table of two which the first server let us know and the second server was hoping we didn’t notice.“
