“The "atmosphere" is fine... The tables and chairs look and feel like they belong in an 80s pizzeria, and are showing the wear and tear of being older, outdated, and not the best. And if that makes you not want to eat here, you are a damaged person... This food is amazing. As in, making a good run for best burgers in the city amazing. The prices are reasonable, the selection has something for everybody, and the staff are wonderful. But... My friend, Bro, Dude, Bruh... The food... This is 'why didn't anybody tell me it was this good' level. This is 'why did I wait so long to try it' level. If you haven't been here for the food, you are failing at life“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“

“Absolutely becoming my favorite location to enjoy a night out. I was a fan of the restaurant and then my wife and I had a chance to go to a cooking class with the Executive Chef. We made my favorite item on the menu. Honestly there isn't enough room on the form for me to describe my experiences at Bourbons Bistro. From the moment you walk in, you just know this is going to be a special place. The service is top tier. They make some of my favorite cocktails and their wine selection is great. “We took our out of town guests yesterday. Our server Jessica was amazing! She really made our night! (If you are reading this Jessica, y’all/yins did a great job! Lol.) Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

“Staff was the rudest I have ever encountered at the Middletown location. I also witnessed extreme rudeness to a door dash driver who had clearly been waiting a while and when they asked about the order having been marked 10 minutes ago as ready they were told "We don't care about YOUR numbers, we have to appear to be on time." He looked like management. I turned and left, I will not do business with someone being rude to staff or anyone providing a service to them any more than rudeness to customers.“

“Wild Eggs has a story that fits the personality of the place: bright, welcoming, and proudly rooted in Kentucky. The chain began in Louisville in 2007, created by founders who wanted a breakfast-and-brunch spot that blended creativity with comfort. Over the years it has grown throughout Kentucky, Indiana, and neighboring states, building a reputation for generous portions, inventive twists on classics, and a menu that ranges from hearty skillets and omelets to fresh-baked breads, pancakes, waffles, and their well‑known “Eggs-traordinary” Benedict variations.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast during our visit. It was a busy morning, so joining the wait list before we left our hotel turned out to be a smart move. By the time we arrived, the place was buzzing, but we were seated quickly and settled in for a great meal.

The service was outstanding. Darren was kind, patient, and attentive throughout our visit. He checked in at just the right moments and made sure we had everything we needed. Offering a coffee to go at the end was a thoughtful touch that left a lasting impression.

I ordered a classic Belgian waffle with a side of crispy bacon, both prepared exactly the way they should be. My wife devoured her omelet, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

Parking wasn’t the easiest, but we were fortunate to find a free street spot practically in front of the entrance since it was Sunday.

Wild Eggs continues to deliver on its reputation for warm service, memorable breakfasts, and a menu that honors its Louisville roots while offering something for everyone. A wonderful start to the day.“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“

“We had an event at Upland, in their large banquet room, last week, and it was not a simple set up or take down for us. Anna and the team at Upland allowed us enough access, beforehand, to transform the room into something spectacular. The appetizers and meals were top notch, served buffet style, with beef, chicken, salads, vegetables, potatoes, vegetarian skewers and more. The staff worked hard to accommodate us and the guests were all happy with the food and how we had set everything up. The were a few hiccups, like the bar having limited choices for guests. It was that there were not choices, but better known brands were unavailable, though their own brands were (and some were pretty good). Also, the staff was so stealthy, that we didn’t realize dinner had been served. We also weren’t sure how to turn some lights on when it got darker outside. Those negatives did not have an affect on the overall party and how it was received, though. I give the an 9 out of 10, knowing that those things wouldn’t happen again.“

“My wife and I brought our two daughters to Le Moo tonight to celebrate our youngest turning two tomorrow. We didn’t reserve a birthday table or expect anything special, but as we were leaving I politely asked the hostess if it would be possible to get two balloons for our kids. The hostess kindly grabbed two balloons and was about to hand them to me when her manager stopped her and told her she was not allowed to give them to my children. The hostess was clearly embarrassed and apologized. I told her it was no big deal and didn’t make a scene, but I’ll be honest — it was disappointing. As a business owner myself, I fully understand that you can’t accommodate every request, and policies exist for a reason. That said, after spending around $500 on dinner, and having two young children who were the only kids visibly in the restaurant, being denied two balloons — something that likely costs pennies — left a sour impression. My family has spent thousands of dollars at Le Moo over the years, and this was one of our more disappointing experiences. I do want to be very clear that our waitress, Kay, was absolutely fantastic. She provided excellent service and made the dining experience enjoyable up until that final interaction. I’m sharing this not to demand anything, but simply to provide feedback. Small gestures matter, especially when celebrating moments with young kids. Unfortunately, this was a miss for us tonight.“
