“Came to LJS for dinner and it was quite the experience. We ate in the restaurant and the staff was totally unexpected. I ordered a shrimp rice bowl with no rice and the chef offered to prepare it with lemon and then they accommodated my lack of rice appropriately and unexpectedly. The people who took the order were very friendly and attentive and three different people checked on our experience while we were eating. Food excellent. Staff excellent. Recommended. Everyone who has finished eating and left (about 5 people) have rung the bell, and I will too.“

“Our visit to BTS was awesome. This place should be awarded a Michelin star! Everyone in the group arrived separately and was brought to our table. I started with a caesar salad with chicken which was a nice addition. The parmaesan cheese tasted like it was just freshly cut! Our entrees arrived and mine was cooked to perfection. The red sauce was soooo tasty! Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. The decor is gorgeous and the presentation of our meals was upscale. Patty was excellent, refilled our drinks promptly and overall just took great care of us. For those reading there is a big parking lot in the back which I had no trouble parking my truck. Also our previous visits we didn't book thru Open Table since it was just us 2, but those were just as good!“

“I go to Moby Dick because there's only one or two or three places. You can get any decent fish anymore. I like to go and I'll pay a tad more if it's the same the way it used to be, prices go up we know, but when the price goes up and this portions go down, we don't like that at all and you're not fooling anyone. So I haven't noticed that. Moby Dick size of say whale of a sandwich has gone down all that much but their main competitor has and don't think we haven't noticed. So I have taken the long way around to get to Moby Dick just because of that. Believe me we notice. That's why you only got a four on food, it's cuz you're trying to skimp a little and then charge us more money. Stop playing games! You'll get better reviews.“

If going on the weekend, be aware there is live (loud) entertainment. Making conversation with your table really difficult if you are seated in that section. We were unaware, and should have asked for either the patio or the front section where it's more conducive for conversation“

Clean, quiet, super friendly staff and fantastic food at good prices. Location on Southside can be a bit congested but you can sneak right out onto Strawberry for a light or a detour.

“First time to restaurant. Overall, excellent impression of location, dining area, and quality of service from staff. Reservation, so seated immediately on entry. Food order was taken and brought out in timely fashion. Steaks were cooked to customer's order and sides were very good and presented well. Two in our party - one had some issue with his steak (rib-eye). Was a little tough and not as easy to cut as would have expected. Cut of the steak was little below what I would have expected. Sides - fries and potato dish were excellent. Order of cocktail (an old fashioned) was excellent and prepared to my satisfaction. Service from our waiter was impeccable. Very pleased with attention and taking are of our needs. Definitely Morton's will be in my top 10 list of steakhouses to consider again in the future.“
