“I was driving through this area and was hungry and I stopped into this Culver’s. It was great. I waited for just a couple of minutes and then some young lady stepped up to the cash register smiled and asked me if she could help me. She listened to tentatively and very professional. I was impressed by all of the employees and their activities. They were working very hard everyone which was impressive I ordered a mushroom and Swiss single and a cup of water six bucks. I got my water and sit down and within just a couple of minutes they brought my sandwich over to me for carryout. It was very quick. The gal that brought me my sandwich also smiled was polite and thanked me for coming in.

I was gonna take a photo of the sandwich because it was awesome, but I already ate it !!

“Like walking back in time going to the Lemon Drop.
Pretty much the same now as it was 60 years ago when I would ride my bike to get a cherry coke.
And the waitresses are amazing.
They don't even write down your order. And always get my order right.
And on the few occasions that they aren't busy, they are always stocking their supplies, and you never see them looking at cell phones. Everyone there has a good work ethic.
Truly like walking back in time.“

“We stopped in for diner while passing through the area. Daryl was outside with to go orders. He noticed my Grandma getting out of the car and immediately stepped in and helped her every step of the way. He called in and had a table ready for us. He came by numerous times to check on her. Absolutely outstanding service“

“I do not get down this way much,just a drive through town in the past but enjoyed a Small place in a small town! Has the home feel. Met friends for pleasant get together. Only draw back access road was closed off main highway but appears to being worked on. This location is pretty deep into town.“

“Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food! And the pricing! I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.“

“We went for lunch yesterday, though it was very close to closing time, the staff was very welcoming and we were encouraged to stay and eat, we all enjoyed our meals and we were treated very well by our server, she said she just works there on Saturday, I didn't catch the young lady's name, but she did a great job 👍 and we will definitely be back to eat again!“

“Took my adult son to lunch at Toast Cafe today. The place’s decor is ‘50’s fun. Clean and casual. Food was delicious and filling. Son had eggs and French toast; I had chicken sandwich with onion rings. Service was good and wait staff were pleasant. Much better than anticipated.“

I went tonight with a friend and Sydney was our waitress, she was very friendly and made our experience even better. This is truly a gem to Yorktown. “I attended this establishment for our March Lion’s Club meeting and it was amazing. Food was delicious and the staff are all sweethearts. Prices are very reasonable and as mentioned the flavor was great. I had meatloaf, green beans, and au gratin potatoes. Delicious 🤤 and I will most definitely be back. My wife has wanted to try your food so I am going to bring her soon. Great down home cooking. Thank you to the staff for accommodating us.“

“We went for a gathering after losing a loved one. My husband and I were okay, but the others had many complaints. I know the host was doing her best. It was about 20 of us there. I wish my food portion was bigger. I had the 3 cheese chicken penne. The garlic bread was just regular bread. It was dry and no garlic. No worries. It was still a good time.“

“Great Food! Prime Rib was cooked perfectly. Hot food and bread. Generous portions & enough for leftovers that I ate the next day. Our waitress was also the bartender resulting in slower than normal service. I and friends ate at Home Stretch a month ago & service was much faster. Overall, great meal and above average service.“

Food came quickly even though they were busy on a Saturday morning. I highly recommend the feta and spinach omelette, it was incredible and huge. Plus came with bacon, hash browns and pancakes (which were also amazing). We decided it will be our go to spot for breakfast every time they visit.“

“I used to eat here when it was upstairs & had a buffet. Liked that because you could go back & get what you liked incase something was subpar, you could always leave happy. Now it has all the markings of a nice dinning experience, but is hit & miss. Like a pingpong ball in a drier, it bounces from subpar to fantastic. Service can be spectacular one night & 3 1/2 hours another. 1 table can be getting great service while your table is forgotten. I frequent Outback & Grandview because your money buys you repeatability & consistency, not so here. 1 night I got great service & incredible food, but on the night I got bad service and cold bad food, I left in a bad mood feeling I wasted my time & money. I'm holding out hope because this week I got the chief's special & the crab legs were the best I've had. (steak above average) when they are on, it's unbeatable. When not, very overpriced. “It was overpriced hospital food, not hot!! I ordered the Pot Roast with potatoes & carrots, it was warm with a brown gravy that was overly salty. There was no potatoes & carrots. I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!“

“I became a patron for the food and the general atmosphere. Now it’s my go-to to get out of the house. This little gem is Muncie’s best-kept secret. Known for their statue of Paul Bunyan, this bar serves all the usual bears and has a fairly deep liquor shelf. Their food is out of this world. I personally recommend the ribeye sandwich and fried mushrooms.“

“This is the second time it has happen to me. Stopped in for two 3 piece fish dinners, was giving a number at the register and two cups for drinks. We set the number on the table ,which you could see it was just cleaned. Before we could get our drinks filled the dinners were on the table, nice hot ,and professionally cooked, and ready to eat. Excellent service, clean establishment. Five stars and two thumbs up.“
