“Went for dinner and had the clam strips/Onion Ring app. Fresh and hot. I had the fish sandwich & wife had the chicken tenders. Both were hot, generous portions and fresh. Marley was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. Great job Sam’s.”

“Went there today for my first time very great atmosphere didn’t know what I was wanting to get or what I should get so I decide to ask an employee there what they think is a good recommendation. After a few recommendations I decided to go with something and when I did, I was not disappointed. I’m sure there is multiple other things there that are very good but all in all great experience very well ran and very respectful employees will definitely be going back and recommending it to others. They sure did brighten my evening!”

“Have not been here for a long time dt poor experience. Decided to give it another try w my cousin while she was in town from Canada. Really simple today- guy took oder at counter, we sat down, guy brought our food. We both had the lettuce wrap burgers. They were good, please know to be prepared for a super mess. In my opinion they should wrap w way more lettuce than they actually do to help w this messiness. We enjoyed our meal. It's not a super comfy place but it's not meant for you to stay long I don't think.”

“I usually order Pollo al Chipotle which is always delicious today I tried the lunch portion of Carne Asada. The meal includes refried beans and rice and the skirt steak comes on a bed of grilled onions, a grilled jalapeno pepper and warm tortillas. The skirt steak was tough and fatty with little to no seasoning. This was my first carne asada so I have nothing to compare the flavor too. Also this was lunch so maybe the dinner portion, being twice the price and size may be more flavorful. I've only had delicious meals here so maybe this was an anomaly or my lack of experience with the dish but I wouldn't order this again. Everyone is friendly, the restaurant is always spotless and I'm always going to be a returning customer.”

“Got here as soon as they opened, got welcomed and my order taken, food was out less than 3 minutes, pulled pork brisket was great, baked beans fantastic and the Mac and cheese was okay. Loved the atmosphere and family owned restaurant!”

“Service is at the top of the list of reasons why I go to restaurants. Food of course is a factor also but if service is bad I won't go regardless. The food here was ok but the service was excellent. I ended up sending my steak back because I asked for it to be medium but it came well done. They did it again but it was then too salty and still tough. It was prime rib so I was expecting it to be tender. The server was so gracious about it. I didn't ask for it to be taken off the check but she did it on her own. For that I was grateful. For that I would also return a second time to give the place another chance.”

“Let’s start with atmosphere. It was well kept with nice decor but I wouldn’t consider it fancy. We ordered the lebnah, liver mousse, and tuna tar tar. The mousse was the clear favorite out of the 3 amongst us. The tar tar was a bit over seasoned with chili or cumin. For the main, we got chicken shawarma and lamb meguez. They were quality and well cooked, but lacking that pop for the price. Overall, I would recommend this place to friends and family for its variety and ethnic background. However, it is a bit pricey.”

“Repeal is truly the spot for a special night out. It's our favorite restaurant, so it only felt right to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday here and they made it unforgettable. The atmosphere is moody and upscale, but still cozy and welcoming. The service is always impeccable, and the food... absolutely flawless. Every dish was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The wine was just as impressive - balanced, creative, and strong in the best way. Repeal has been our go-to for date nights, but this visit reminded us why we keep coming back: it always feels like an experience. Thoughtful, consistent, and elevated in all the right ways. Highly recommend for any celebration, or just because.”

“Mannnnn. This place is EXCELLENT. My second time here was just as amazing as the first. Eve was our server and she was fantastic. We had a group of seven and a lot of us split our entrees so we could try everything. There was literally nothing we didn’t love. We live three hours away and I would drive here just to eat dinner. Kudos to you guys and thank you to eve for the fantastic service! If you have an opportunity to sit outside on the outdoor enclosure do so! It’s a tropical paradise in Kentucky!”

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.”

“Great intimate vibe. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with waters and menus. The housemade chex mix was a great touch. The bartender was very kind and attentive and talked through the cocktails with us until we found a drink that seemed perfect. Each cocktail we perfectly executed and so tasty! Went with a group of friends and would definitely recommend a reservation for a larger party to make sure you are all seated together. Can't wait to go back for a date night.”
