“My family ordered take out. Our order was screwed up-- in particular my dinner. But they made it right and were kind about it. Once I got thr right meal, it was very good- Valencia salad and salmon burger were delicious. They were very busy tonight and without a touch of defensiveness they remade my order once i let them know about the issues. How businesses handle mistakes matters. I would definitely eat here again because of their professionalism and courtesy and also because the food was good.“

- The Fried Green Tomatoes, Duck Gnocchi, and Crawfish Pasta were EXCELLENT! Highly recommend ordering again

- Cocktails are a 10/10 - if you are eating here, I recommend you go the cocktail vs wine route!
- We sat down at 6:30 and did not have a waitress stop by until after 6:45. In addition, we did not place our mains until 7:30 as our waitress did not pop by a ton, and ended our evening at 8:30 after eating our food when placed on our table at 8pm
- The ambiance is cozy and vibey, but I think you could use warmer lighting overall to really cozy up the place!

Overall, we will return, but will be mindful of ordering as many Oysters as we did and there is room for improvement for a better service experience!“

The atmosphere here is rustic and welcoming: high ceilings, brick and stone walls, comfy seating, and even a giant fireplace for colder days. It is the kind of place where you want to sink into a couch with a drink and just relax. Plenty of locals and visitors rave about how inviting it feels, almost like sipping whiskey in a friend’s cool loft.
The staff we encountered were super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. Even if it was a slow night, you could tell they genuinely love this place and want you to have a great time. That energy comes through in the cocktails.

And I can’t forget Freddie the cat. He graced me with his presence, a true honor for anyone lucky enough to encounter him. This adds an extra quirky, personal touch that makes the distillery feel alive.
Beyond Shmallow, Hotel Tango mixes up seasonal and inventive cocktails that make the most of their spirits. Whether you are into smoky sweet drinks or something more balanced, their menu shows real craft and imagination.
The vibe is casual but not sloppy. It is cool in that unpretentious hipster distillery way. Great for a date, a night out with friends, or just chilling solo with a drink. “This place is amazing! Environment is sexy, service is top notch and some of the best steaks we have ever had. Crab cake appetizer was great!. Filet and Ribeye are some of the best cuts and quality around. This place gives the well known places like Tony's Of Indianapolis , St Elmo, Prime 47. La Tratoria and Sullivan's a serious run for the money. The difference was we made a reservation 2 hours before showing up and were promptly seated and waited on. I am certain that's gonna change as more people find out about this place. We will for sure be back! I think it was Katie who was our server and she was lights out good and attentive. Conner on the grill...keep cooking em like that...Fantastic meal!“

So, we opted to make reservations for brunch (Highly recommend that you RSVP). Our reservation was for 12 noon when they open… We were immediately seated and served. They had a LIVE DJ with a nice vibe and the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! “I’m a self proclaimed Food critic ☺️”and I give it a 10/10 My husband had the chicken and waffles with fruit toppings, I had the grits and catfish. The portions are plentiful… Everything exceeded our expectations! Our waitress was Z, very professional and on point!
