“I could only finish half the regular sandwich and some fries because it was such a BIG combo! One of the best Steak Phillys I've had and left very satisfied. Not that I'm an expert, but it was GOOD with all the fixings! I'd go back just for the fries too! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 we were just passing through and stopped just after the lunch rush, the wait for food was reasonable. Would definitely return if in the area again.“

“We found this place on our way to Raleigh, NC from Chicago. Stopped here after reading reviews online. TRUST THE REVIEWS that say this place is good...IT IS GOOD! We just moved to the Chicago area from South Texas, so we know good Mexican food and this place does not disappoint! If you are anywhere near Gary Indiana, you have to stop in to Chela's. It's not fancy at all, but is very clean and the prices are good. We had the Birria Tacos, chips and salsa and several different meat tacos. Then, on our way back from North Carolina, we stopped in again! My fiance thinks this is the best Mexican food outside of Texas. THAT'S saying something! We can't wait to go back!“

“Was headed to my favorite Taco place and a friend suggested this place instead based of their burrito that “HUGE” and let me tell you, I was bummed with the change of plans but I was not disappointed!
The had adequate seating, comfortable ambience, CLEAN tables, and fast service. He got the “named burrito” (just forgot the guys name) and a small cheese fry, and I got the gyro sandwich. Mine was H•U•G•E and his was massive. I plan on returning and trying their tacos. They have specials, Tuedays is $2 tacos at time being. I highly recommend if you’re looking for this type of food. I’ll be back for sure.“

“Stopped here on a whim. Right off expressway. Looks like it just opened but they have been there for about 3 years. And still looks brand new. Reasonable prices. Great customer service. Everything was fresh and hot. We had their tacos. Ground beef taco 10/10, chicken taco 10/10 they use shredded chicken which we appreciate, and their Al pastor which was tender, saucy and flavorful. Appreciate that they paired it with a wedge of lime 🍋🟩 we also tried their carne asada torta which was 10/10 love that they add guacamole and the bread was toasted to perfection on outside but still fresh and soft when you bite into it. We also had their elote which was a generous size. And their red and green salsa were both delicious 10/10. We also appreciate their fountain drink machine being well calibrated right amount of carbonation and syrup and their ice cubes were hollow cubes which as an ice chewer I appreciate. Definitely recommend and worth the drive.“
