As a New Englander it reminded me of pubs back home. Knick knacks on the wall, a full bar on a Thursday and friendly staff. While the chowder wasn't authentic New England it was pretty dang good and I would happily order it again. Kudos to this neat little hole in the wall.
No pictures because the food is always scarfed down before we can do so! I have come here for many years and not as often as I should...I chose here for Mother's Day because mama likes ice cold beer (check!) and a yummy Italian beef sandwich from here! Got the club sandwich with their homemade chips. The sandwich was large and delicious, and the chips were perfect. The staff was friendly and the decor was "boathouse" and homey. I will come again.
