Chicago's fish & chicken offers delicious, fresh food with excellent customer service. While some dishes like catfish may not be the best, the chicken is their specialty and highly recommended. The parking lot may need some maintenance, but the new cooks have elevated the dining experience with dishes like Hot flame nachos, pizza puffs, philly chicken and steak, and gyro combo. Customers have praised the quality of the food, especially the perch, onion rings, corn nuggets, hush puppies, and fried pickles, describing them as the best they've ever had. Many enjoyed eating family style and found nothing lacking. However, some concerns about the restaurant include the use of precooked chicken and fries sitting on top of the fryer, which are re-dipped into grease instead of being made fresh. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive, with many planning to return soon.
