“We absolutely love this place! The food is always excellent. The staff is wonderful. I honestly can’t think of one bad experience I’ve ever had here. My family and I can always rely on Anthens on 86th Street for a fun night out. And it’s also a great place to meet up for lunch with friends. They have a way of making this place both family friendly yet romantic at the same time. 10/10 highly recommend“
“This is a great family restaurant. We go at least once everytime we visit family in New Palestine. Tenderloin is fabulous. Biscuits and gravy is delicious and huge. Everything I've had has been enough to share.Kid-friendliness: The staff made us feel welcome to stay near closing time while my little niece ate and chattered.“
“Really excellent and unique menu, great selection and fantastic service. The chicken is on my mind weekly. It's a mediterranean place, so don't expect the burger to be the best thing on the menu. The feta potatoes are a must for sides.“
“If you are looking for variety you have come to the right place the menu has over 100 options. My favorite is the Gyros, Fish Sandwiches, Wings, and burgers. Food always fresh and the service is great. Wish we had one of these in the Castleton area ??“
“Mama Fofos is a yummy spot in the garage with Greek/Mediterranean cuisine! I had the chicken gyro here which came with fries, and it exceeded my expectations!! The chicken was juicy, seasoned very well, and the yogurt sauce was perfectly thick and flavorful. The fries were seasoned, crispy, and delicious as well! I'm hungry just thinking about it! In terms of service, the woman serving us was nice and friendly. There's a lot of seating in the garage too and it's a lively environment, so it's a great spot to grab a bite with friends :)“
“I go here every couple weeks for lunch. I get some combination of chicken, lamb and/or falafel on rice. It is always good. If I could change anything it would be to offer a smaller and cheaper lunch portion. So glad it is available for a tasty lunch vs typical fast food.“
“Nestled in an old burger joint, could use some updates as far as atmosphere goes. Food was tasty and hot. Wife had beef nachos in which there was enough for two. Portion a plenty. Jumbo shrimp were nothing more than 25 to 30 count butterflied to make appear large once battered. Guess I was expecting something different. Other reviews is what led us here, service and overall experience just not what I imagined.“
“I get the classic shawarma It's made to order and is the perfect portion the fries are good If I'm not in a hurry I'll get the rice it's great. I usually go midweek around 2ish never had an issue after going there more than a couple of times I thought I'd review and recommend, keep up the great work Petra “
“Visited Sam’s Gyros because a friend of mine that is visiting the states wanted to try it. The restaurant was quiet, the man who waited on us was very nice and easy going. The food was wonderful, I had the chicken shawarma and I will definitely be going back for another. There is a $1 charge to use card, but that’s really not a big deal to me, especially since the food was not expensive.“
“Carryout for 5. Philly Chix was very tasty. Chicken tenders appear to be freshly breaded and were crispy and big portion. Italian Beef - "pretty good". Overall, excellent fast food quality at fair prices. No hot dogs...thus not quite a Chicago experience, but very close. Will return when in the area.“
“This has become one of my favorite places to dine. Grilled salmon and lamb are absolutely incredible. I often get the roasted potatoes or the cucumber salad. You can’t go wrong with either one. This place has great healthy, food options that won’t break the bank.“
“I wandered in here because the restaurant had great reviews on a gluten free rating website, and I am so glad I did. Walking in immediately brought to mind the tiny greek restaurants I’ve been to - a good start. I asked for hummus with cucumbers instead of pita, and from then on, my waitress was sure to take spectacular care of me. First - the hummus was excellent. Then she brought out a sampling of different dips. I do not usually like eggplant, but this was so good! She let me know that most of the meat dishes were easily gluten free, so I ordered the pork souvlaki. The salad was excellent- just the right amount of oregano. The souvlaki really stole the show though. It’s incredible. Perfectly cooked, flavored better than any meat I’ve had before. That sounds dramatic, but it really feels more like an understatement. The beans were delicious and the tzatziki was thick and creamy. This is hands down the best greek restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat at. The service here is fabulous - both my waitress and the waiter were so lovely, kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat whenever I am in Indianapolis!Dietary restrictions: They were so accommodating for gluten free!“
